Peaceful, quiet, absolutely beautiful!! This is the perfect place to get away from it all. I didn't want to leave, and I returned at the last minute after going to a wedding on the other side of Maui. There is no traffic, no congestion, no crowds, few cars. I ate papaya, starfruit and mango from the trees, and found a... More

Windward is a bit remote down "country lanes", but perfect if you want peace and quiet. We stayed in the cottage which is separate from the B&B. We never actually met the hosts, but were on our own. The cottage has a full kitchen, so we fixed our own breakfasts and lunches. We took the walk down the road to... More

The Windward Garden B&B is what all other B&Bs should aspire to be! Chris and Sue are perfect hosts who have built a beautiful charming home on the magnificent windswept North Shore of Maui. The rooms all have wonderful views and the morning breakfasts on the veranda are memorable. We especially enjoyed our discussions with Chris about the history of... More

The breakfasts each morning were excellent a home prepared breakfast that was different each morning and excellent to say the least. There was fresh fruit from their property. And you could see orchids and all different species of palms growing on the property

This place is hard to describe, because there are no words that depict the beauty of Windward Garden B&B. I have been dreaming about something like this place. Not that far from wonderful beaches, beautiful woods, my favorite restaurant Mama's Fish House and the ocean this hidden gem is something that you can hardly find anywhere else. The house and garden... More

Where to start with Windward Gardens-- everything from the attention to detail both with the flora on the property to the carefully placed tree swings and masterfully built interior within the main house that allows for breeze and bright light. Chris and Susan are top notch proprietors who have integrated their house into the local environs. Like other reviews, I... More

If you imagine a Maui that is a tropical garden, tranquil yet vivid, intimate yet liberating, then Windward Garden is the place your imagination has made real. Far away from the torpid hustle-bustle of the main tourist areas, Chris and Susan have created a tropical garden that evokes a peaceful and welcoming calm. Our second stay here was in the... More

My wife and I have stayed here for about 13 weeks in 3 visits over the last 12 months, so that alone should tell you how much we like it! If your idea of "off-the-grid" is a plywood shack lit by a single 60W light bulb, you need to come here to have your reality changed! This is a HUGELY... More

We stayed in the Aloha Cottage and were very impressed by the size, quality and overall beauty of this place. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the area was a perfect distance from the hustle and bustle of Paia.
