Stayed here in April 2011 with my wife and in-laws. We stayed in the Royal Garden 2BR suite with two floors. The suite was very nice in appearance- bamboo fixtures, high ceilings, outdoor wraparound porch. There is no air conditioning and the loft space with the second bedroom was VERY hot, the ceiling fans did not work. When we tried... More

Beautiful location, and I'd imagine before it became so dirty and rundown it was a great place to stay. Sadly, it is great no more. Rundown and dirty is the best way to describe it, you'd think with a day's notice they could at least sweep up the dead roaches and clean some of the gecko feces from the floor... More

My husband and I stayed here one night on our honeymoon. The property looked beautiful online and even as we drove in, I was optimistic. But sadly, this turned out to be the worst place we have ever stayed. We stayed at the Garden Suite, which was spacious but dated. There were ants everywhere, which they did warn us about... More

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights on our honeymoon after the drive down Hana Road. The plus points are the location which is overlooking a beautiful and peaceful pond and around the corner from an almost private beach. The flat itself is a decent size and on the surfance looks clean but if you look... More

We stayed three nights in the Tree House in late June. The location couldn't be better, perched above the trees overlooking an ancient fishpond and just steps away from a gorgeous black sand beach. On our first night it rained and we were lulled to sleep by the raindrops hitting the leaves right outside our window, the fish jumping occasionally... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hana Hale Inn at the tree house. All I can say is relaxation, nature and beauty. I have read some bad reviews on the Hana Hale but we had a lovely time. I loved the deck and staring at all the beauty around. I walked along the beach and found a beautiful black... More

Hmmmm. Both high and low points. I stayed in the the Treehouse for two nights. It is a true tropical experience. There is no air conditioning, but they do provide fans, and it is plenty comfortable late at night and early morning. The treehouse is on two floors, with only the entry and bathroom on the bottom floor. The kitchen/living... More

We stayed in the Hana Hale in July of 07. I am glad that we spent the night in Hana as it gave us time to enjoy the journey and not be rushed to get there. Our main reason for chosing it was we were looking for quality accommodation and did not want to pay the $$$$ for the Hotel... More

First of all, let me say that Hana is a great place to spend a few days. There are at least three extraordinary beaches within a few minutes drive and goodness knows how many other gorgeous hikes and so forth. However, there are really no good restaurants to speak of and nothing much else in the town. The Hana Hale... More
