Stayed at Kula View B&B and was hosted by the very lovely Sue who was most welcoming and accommodating. The B&B is situated just 1 hr's drive from the Haleakala summit so it made for a very convenient drive to see sunrise. A lovely breakfast of juice, fruit and baked goods was provided. Extra clothes, blankets and thermoses for hot... More

Family run- eclectic, rambling yard with chickens, roosters, pets, fruit and nut trees, and herb garden. Be sure to make your way to the very back edge of yard to see a great view. Have a seat a let worries roll away with the breeze as you gaze at the valley below and Haleakala beyond. Very cozy room- equipped kitchenette... More

The room is spacious, nice and clean. It has microwave, small refrigerator, and a kitchen sink, but no stove. Very nice location if you are visiting Haleakala national park. Wish we had more time to stay there.

Staying at Kula View B&B was one of the most satisfying experiences I had when I decided to spend two nights in Maui. I was able to experience living in this beautiful neighborhood in Kula Maui. This charming Le Sweet, with tastefully designed interiors and relaxing ambience. The owner, was very accommodating and coordinated with me prior to and during... More

This rating is not because you get a Ritz Carlton experience, it is based on the fact that it is excellent for what it is ... a great peaceful experience in a studio in an upcountry residential area. Sure, there could be some upgrading of the unit, but you are staying in the private portion of a home and it... More

I spent two nights at the Kula View Guesthouse and can't say enough about what a wonderful find this place is! It is very quiet, peaceful, and the owner is incredible kind. You can have a TV in the room if you request it. Hotels in Maui are very expensive making this guesthouse that much more of a great find!... More

For our first trip to Maui, also our honeymoon, my bride and I wanted some time in the upcountry before going to the beaches. We found Kula View and loved it. It was clean, light and airy, a short drive from Kahului and convenient to Haleakala. Sue was a gracious, kind host who left breakfast treats every day. She provided... More

Excellent - and quiet - location for those hiking the Haleakala Crater. The room is clean, comfortable and spacious. Sue, our hostess, provides every possible item to make your visit smooth (e.g., mosquito repellent, down jackets in case you wish to see the sun rise over the crater).

Lovely place to stay. Very private area. The studio is very nice, clean, and actually looks like it was newly renovated. It is great not to be near traffic noise, the only sounds are of birds. The owner is nice and very accommodating. She provides a light breakfast of fruits and breads which is delightful, and you can make your... More

Very pleasant and spacious accommodation. Very convenient access to the Haleakala National Park, in our case irrelevant, since it was closed during the government shut down (no comment). The site is very quiet, except at dawn when the abundant bird life welcomes in the new day. The breakfasts were really excellent and Sue was most helpful and welcoming. The Bistro... More

“Just know that this is NOT a resort. If you love (crave!) peace and quiet--this is the place. If not, or if you require "resort-style" surroundings and pampering, then you should book in at the upscale hotels and resorts. This is a place of relaxation, contemplation with somewhat "rustic" grounds and landscaping--in my book--lends itself to a true Island experience.”
