We stayed at the Honua Kai for our Spring Break, and I have a lot of good things to say about this place: - Great Size Rooms with a full kitchen - Friendly Staff - Conveniently located close to Lahaina - Not to far away from the airport - Easy Access to all major highways - Nice pools - Nice...

We stayed here for 6 nights at the start of September 2016. The resort is made up of two separate buildings which confused us from the start because we went to the wrong reception not knowing where we had to go. The resort and the grounds especially are just what you want when on holidays, so well looked after and...

We rented a condo through Home Away and Brandon Mullenberg. Brandon was great to work with and Monty in Hawaii was very helpful. Everything was as we expected upon arrival and the resort was fantastic! Our room #103 was maybe 10 yards from the adult only pool which was so nice. We enjoyed being so close to Lahaina and all...

Thus is our 2nd trip to Hawaii but first one with kids. This resort is family friendly and in our 1 bedroom spacious suite there is a full kitchen and washer and dryer which are both pluses. I didn't realize since it's considered a condo type room, you only get housekeeping once during our 4 night stay. Not terrible but...

Stayed in the Konea tower; 5th floor. Great view of the mountains and the water. All the conveniences of home; full stocked kitchen; W/D; king size bed; Wifi; and a magnificent lanai with doors that opened for a full view and breeze. Several pools including an adult only pool if you want some peace and quiet without kids; spa; workout...

This resort was the perfect location for our family trip. It was an easy drive to many locations on the island and not quite as scrunched together as the resorts further south. The pool, beach and resort grounds were lovely. The accommodations were also just right for our family of four with a fantastic view of the ocean. Customer service...

This was our first trip to Maui so understand this review does not compare this resort to other Maui properties. First of all I should mention this was a private rental through a Maui vacation company. We were in room 537. The resort is better for families than couples. I had read there were many families here but thought with...

Unbelievable view from the upper floor. It really made the trip. Great sunset every night, view of the islands in the distance and we even saw whales. We only left the resort twice I think (road to Hana is way to far and winding, wouldn't recommend that unless your very patient. Would have rather seen the volcano). No reason to...

My family of 4 spent 10 nights at Honua Kai in the main building in Feb17. We stayed in a mountain view 1 bedroom unit which had a pull out bed. The room was very comfortable and had a large lanai overlooking the mountains, with a little of the construction also visible. The construction noise was a little bit of...

If you want to be really disappointed, be sure and book your room here. We had a "mountain view" room. Should have been classified as an overlook the parking lot, parking garage, highway........then mountains. When I went back to ask the girl that checked us in, who wasn't having too good of a day to start, she seemed annoyed. Didn't...
