Clean rooms and common areas. Nice bathrooms, mostly clean and when not it was brief and reflected patron use rather than hostel upkeep. Free coffee / tea and Pancakes made for an easy and enjoyable breakfast option, plus the distribution of leftover fruit and other food left behind by others also helped make things easier. Very pleasant place to stay,...

The location for this hostel is great - it's very close to the airport, as well as near Baldwin Beach Park & Paia. If you are travelling without a car, it offers free airport pick up at various times.. If you are travelling with a car it is the best hostel in Maui for parking - with a HUGE car...

The north shore hostel is the perfect fit for the budget minded. For the more gregarious there are plenty of other travelers to mingle with and compare notes with and with whom to buddy up with for excursions. For the solo, self-starter it is a good place to use as a base from which to launch oneself. And, for a...

Upon our arrival a tired receptionist started to argue that they confirmed only 1 person instead of 5 requested. Well, they had a free room, so there was no problem, but he insisted on showing him an email with their confirmation. Rooms are tiny - but this can be expected for the price. Restrooms are quite clean and you can...

Dear xhanka00, we're sorry you found our staff unfriendly. They work hard and honestly try to please everyone....which is not always possible. We did our best to accommodate your party when you arrived with more guests than the original reservation. We're happy you enjoyed the free pancakes and restrooms.....happy trails!

We loved it there. the staff was amazing and so helpful (especcially Janine). They helped us with everything: planning our daily trips, fixing our car, finding a cheap car rental, finding good hostels on the other islands. I've rarely seen such great staff in a hostel. In the end of our stay Janine (and her put dog Elvis) was more...

I originally planned to stay here for 4 nights but ended up staying 10. The staff are all super helpful and awesome people. The hostel is VERY clean. Even the rooms/dorms are swept and mopped everyday. The kitchen facilities are fantastic. Also the free pancake and coffee breakfast is a huge bonus. There is a quiet time from 1030 pm...

The hostel is very dirty and smelly. The structure is decrepit and the place where is located is a bit depressive. The double room are small, uncomfortable and very high priced for what they offer . All bathrooms are shared, but nothing to complain here. The lady at reception desk was very kind and helpful. They have good general services...

We're happy that you found something that we did to your liking. And yes the lady...
