It is no wonder that this resort is featured in several Hollywood movies! The view and amenities are wonderful! First of all, upon leaving the crazy and busy city of Honolulu, we headed to our destination on the North Shore of Oahu. This area of...More
So let me start by saying that this is a beautiful hotel in an amazing location! There are views from EVERYWHERE!! The staff is extremely friendly for the most part and the Hawaiian breezes are delightful!

Turtle Bay Resort, many know that it is the 'resort' that is featured in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Obviously, the movie glams it up a bit with the best rooms and best view points, so if you go in expecting that level and don't pay top...More

Staff is helpful, resort grounds are well maintained, and the location is beautiful. However, can't help feeling "nickel and dimed." The room rates and resort fee are high enough that customers shouldn't need to pay an additional daily fee to rent a lounge chair by...More

Waimea Falls was a great day trip. The falls itself was nice. It had really rained prior to the day we went and the water was really dirty. The gardens were really amazing and the walk through the gardens was easy and pleasant. The Dole Plantation was a spur of the moment stop and we were pleasantly surprised. Learned a lot about pineapples and enjoyed the grounds and the shopping. The Polynesian Cultural Center was interesting but agree it is a bit expensive. We bought a package which was good for 3 days. We spent 9 hours there the first day and still didn't get to see everything. Since you are grouped with other people and assigned a tour guide it does end up being a very long day. Our last full day at Turtle Bay (on a Tuesday) we walked to Kawela Bay and found it to be a very quiet spot and NOT windy at all which was a major plus. Wish we had walked to it earlier in our trip!
