Kind of off the beaten path away from Honolulu. Some people have mentioned that it seems to be in a sketchy area but we had no issues or any fears. The grills on location were in excellent condition and worked flawlessly. The waves at the beach were a little rough near the

Some people have left remarks of the ‘homeless’ people. Yup, it’s there, but it’s everywhere in the World!!!!! Difference is, they live on Beautiful beaches and make it work! But Not One of them made us feel uncomfortable, this is another Country. Get over it!!! I’d take my

My first impression I was a little disappointed because of the location. The area does have a lot of homeless in the area. Not a huge a concern..The resort is gated with 24 your security. We arrived two hours early and were allowed to check in. Our unit was on the 3rd floor. The

Very simple lodgings located right on Makaha Beach. It is very laidback and is very secure with parking areas and methods to use elevator. Price is reasonable with access to small washer and dryer in the unit. Can't wait to go back.

What a pleasant surprise to find our unit on the 15th floor, unit 1503. It was very nicely furnished and supplied with everything we could possibly need. The decor seemed fairly new, tile flooring was very nice but carpeting in bedrooms was a bit worn. It had a beautiful lanai

Yes they are. Corner units have a wrap around lanai. Last fall they were replacing the rails and waterproofing the building. This should be done by now.

Andrea, Loved the condo and all the resort offered. One week was not enough. A month or longer would have been great. The best time we found for travel between Waikiki and Waianae were mid morning to early afternoon. Traffic going from Waianae was one lane starting around 3 PM as I recall and that added a third lane for the rush hour traffic coming into the Waianae area. Early morning or late evening are also good travel times in either direction. Tom Doyle

NO fine dining. This is a area that is more "local" than tourist. Just going to the grocery store people will stare because you are "not from there". Some visitor's are a little afraid of the area but if you are used to living with locals than it's ok but some people do have issues with the homeless. The resort itself is gated.

Yes you can. There is a Security Person available on-site, to let you in the security gate, and to give you keys to your suite. You can complete Check-In in the Office in the morning. The staff is the greatest.
