My stay here was truly amazing. Wonderful home cooked breakfast and pleasant conversation, makes me want to open my own BnB when I retire. The pool and sauna were great. They even lent us winter coats for whale watching (in the middle of summer), we didn't realize how cold the water around the boat was was, and we got to...

This is an exceptional spot--beautiful building, wonderfully appointed rooms, great linens and decorations, calm and warm atmosphere, an indoor for a relaxing swim, wine in the afternoon, wonderful breakfast in the morning. It is a special treat in every way.

Loved this inn. The rooms are beautiful with wood burning fireplace which was so cozy in the evening. Big beautiful bathroom with a deep jet tub and a double shower head big shower. The owners are super sweet and helpful. The breakfast were gourmet. Was a wonderful experience and look forward to coming back!

Firstly, I wanted to just move in and live there. It was well decorated, well furnished, good people that run it and have pleasant conversation, but just enough and not too much - hope that makes sense. We especially enjoyed being close enough to walk into town and not face the parking woes of Bar Harbor but far enough away...

The most gross representation of a B&B I've ever seen. Never saw a real person, was given an envelope on instructions to go around back through an unkepted alley. Was informed the breakfast was not included because we weren't in the house. We had our own kitchen. $755 for 3 nights. What a dump!

Lovely spot, friendly, accommodating, interesting. We had great breakfasts and conversations with our hosts. Dan, renaissance-like, provided live music ,encouraged by us because many instruments were in sight. Would suggest a bathroom nightlight . Go for it!

We had a great experience, the hosts were very nice, our stay was pleasant! It's actually a house, and that makes it fantastic! The breakfast was very good, the furniture was fabulous, everything work for us, we were in a road trip so we only stayed for one night.

We visited Bar Harbor as we transitioned from Washington, DC to Austin. Dan and Joan were wonderful hosts. The morning conversations always gave us great ideas on how to spend our day on the island, and the evening chats with Joan were delightful. Breakfasts were a real treat, and their attention to detail made the entire stay so very comfortable.

Of all the places in and around Bar Harbor we feel that this was and is the perfect place to stay. 1-Location. Just outside of the town, but within easy walking distance to town. No worries about parking and traffic. 2-Host. Dan knows so much about the area that he can help guide you where and when to visit based...

We stayed here for a weekend get-away in the US. It was a charming house, just beautiful. We never saw the owners during our stay... or a manager or anyone for that matter until my wife had breakfast the next morning and someone was there cooking. Literally felt like we had someone else's historic house to ourselves, a bit weird...
