First of all, be aware that this is an old victorian house and that it therefore has features like rustic doors (as in, they don't isolate sounds) and small showers but if you ask me, in this case it all just adds to the charm....More

Thanks so much for staying with us and for reviewing. As a period house, Central House has guest rooms in different sizes -- out king rooms are larger and have larger bathrooms.

Good location, very comfortable rooms. Staff had a lot of good information about things to do and they shared it enthusiastically. Very nice common areas that provided a good place to relax with friends and plan our day.

I would stay in Bar Harbor for three days. Just park your car there and you are all set. You can walk to the shops, restaurants and the water. You can hop on the buses everyday and go into Arcadia National Park. My... More
