If you're travelling to King Salmon, I would stay anywhere else but here. The cabins are overpriced and in terrible condition- not clean and practically dilapidated. The food isn't that great and cost way too much ($24 for a cheeseburger!!) I don't even think the kitchen could pass a health inspection. Seriously, don't waste your time with this place. There... First of all, nobody stays in King Salmon by choice, unless your on a fishing trip. There is little here and only 2 places to stay. The King Ko is pretty basic, little brown cabins behind the restaurant badly in need of paint. Inside they're larger than you would expect. There were 2 beds, a kitchen table and chairs and... More

This place is beyond terrible. The rooms are filthy. The water going to the rooms was delivered by hose. Door falling off the fridge. Toilets leaking. And if that is not enough you had squirrels trying to chew their way into your room. This place is way overpriced for a flophouse. You would be better off finding a grassy area... More

While up fishing in Alaska we ate at this restaurant and enjoyed the lively bar. Of course very few places are in this town, and as it's very remote the choices are limited. The bar has great service and a great selection of beers on tap, of course the Alaska Amber is always a good choice they had several IPA's... More

You have to get past the first impression of the room as cheap and old construction. The room had basic furnishings but all were in good shape and it was clean. There was a table and chairs, small fridge and microwave. There was instant hot water and plenty of it and the heater worked great. Our meals in the dining... More

I had an amazing trip out to do some sport fishing! The king Ko let me store all of my fish in their freezer during my stay AND after speaking with the general manager, Danny, I learned that there is an option on the menu to have the kitchen prepare MY salmon for me! It was incredible! Great wine selection... More

Unfortunatly I was stuck in King salmon after my flight was cancelled. The only place in town to stay was the King Ko inn. It is way over priced for the room quality that you get. A bed, tv with no remote, toilet that leaks water, and stained carpets. The restaraunt was out of multiple items, the service was slow... More

We had already booked our flights to and from King Salmon before looking at accommodation options, King Ko was the only place we could find that had space. It is very over priced, the rooms are basic, the bathrooms small and dated. The rooms are in prefab type buildings out the back of the main building. Be warned the rooms... More

There are many better options for staying or eating in the King Salmon/Naknek area... for a better price. The staff consists of all the fired workers from other places in town. Stay away from this place.
