Family run, friendly, scenic. This is a remote, difficult to reach place that is open from Mid May to Late September. Primarily aimed at fishing, it offers tremendous river frontage and motorized fishing boats that can go up and down river many miles. Fly Fishing all different species of Salmon, Rainbow Trout, etc. Friendly staff that works hard for you....

I could not have asked for a better destination. I fished with my father and 2 friends. McGee's have done a first rate job in all categories!! Food and accommodations were great (Dad loved the cabins). The fishing was over the top! Thank You Wayne & Sue, Jacob, Charlie and the whole group at ATA for making our trip so...

Great comfort and hospitality in the McGee family run lodge in the Alaskan wilderness. I can not recall seeing quite so many fish in a river; they were without number, and they were immensely catchable. A real adventure.

Wayne McGee and his wife and family offer an excellent Alaskan experience. We caught so many salmon I lost count every day we were there. I've never seen so many big fish in a river. Pink salmon, silver salmon, chum salmon, arctic char, rainbows, & grayling. What a trip.

Spent 2 days at Alaska Trophy Adventures, Aug 14-16. What a great place to catch fish. I fell into a deal from another lodge that I booked, so I was kind of on the economy plan. Wayne, the new owner, was great and shared many stories of his life experiences in the evening. Our cabin had two comfortable single beds....

I have experienced dozens of Alaskan lodges over the past 25 years. I've seen the good, bad, and the ugly of housing, food, and fishing operations. This was ATAL's first full year of operation under the McGee family's management and that made the experience even more impressive. The staff were great. They went beyond cooperative and pleasant, which you hope...

What a beautiful place! The sight seeing was outstanding, from eagles to bears surrounded by a gorgeous river. It made it hard to concentrate on the fishing. There are so many fish that even a novice fisherman or woman will catch fish. The guides know the river and the proper technique to catch them. The lodging is comfortable and the...

Went salmon fishing with a friend and was overwhelmed by Wayne McGee's operation. His family and staff took all the hassle out of a destination trip like this and we were able to just have fun fishing. I caught five different species of fish on my first day! I wish I could say it was skill, but it was the...

We were fortunate enough to visit the ATA Lodge as a family. (2 Adults & 1 x 9 year old child) We predominantly went for the fishing but little did we know it would be so much more than that....
