Staff was very helpful with sightseeing and restaurant suggestions. Breakfasts were delicious - wonderful bread! Room and bed were very comfortable. Great area with good restaurants in walking distance. Street parking was surprisingly easy to find.

Cute old Victorian building. Very quiet and comfortable. Easily found street parking for the night. It becomes 2 hour parking in the day. Centrally located in the city, easy to get around. Room was clean and very comfortable. Free WiFi which worked well. GREAT VALUE for the price. Would definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed at The Grove Inn because it was located near our son's apartment in the city. We immediately felt at home because the staff, especially Zabrina, went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. We had a suite, which was very spacious and could have accommodated a small family. The decor was simple, modern and fresh...

My husband, baby and I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was fairly small but very clean and with all the amenities you would need. Only downside was the sink is in the room, separate to the bathroom. Shower was good. We had a room with bay windows - it was a little noisy as the buses stop right...

Dear Emily, Thank you for your kind review! We understand your note on the street noise; During our recent remodeling, we installed double-pane glass in all windows, and for light sleepers, we include amenities such as ear plugs in all our rooms. Sincerely, The Grove Inn

The Grove Inn is in a quaint residential neighborhood within a walkable distance to dinning and entertainment. The rooms are refreshingly simple yet with all the amenities a traveler needs (tv, hairdryer, complimentary ear plugs and shower caps). The continental breakfast was a welcomed break from salty, greasy restaurant fair (fresh bread, hard boiled eggs, cheese, granola, fruit, etc). The...

Lovely experience! Wonderful breakfasts and hospitality. Narrow steps are not for the faint of heart, but we loved the atmosphere and made it without a problem to our room. It is a refurbished boarding house, so it is truly an old and historic structure.

This is a belated review from August. The staff were so accommodating to our needs. The room my husband and I and two teenage sons stayed in was large enough for us and by the road ( noise was not a problem). The self service breakfast was simple and lovely (the best bread we had for the whole 2 weeks...

We began our search for interesting accommodation about 2 months ago and noted that the The Grove Inn was already starting to fill. After comparing options with hotels ($$$$), Air B&B (little selection) and other Inns/B&Bs (smaller with limited availability), we found ourselves returning online to look again at this location. We took the plunge, booked two rooms and have...

I stayed there for one week. Good location. Staff nice and helpful. Stayed in three rooms. All OK but different. Room 12 was the best. And very good public transportation. Cheap buses all around the corrner. One ticket lasts the whole day.
