The friendliest people I encountered during a hotel stay. The concierge services were absolutely wonderful and helpful. I think his name was William that printed out a certificate for me, I was so pleased. The lounge was also another area to relax and enjoy conversation. Best part of the room was the spacious shower!!

I stayed here overnight. The location and foyer is great. Staff is exceptional but unfortunately, that's about it for the hotel. The rooms are spacious and nice by the way..The water pressure is so so low that at times it fells like the toilet cant flush. The shower head was terrible. It was broken withe water spewing every where. The...

Really lovely hotel with very helpful and friendly staff at all levels. Spotless room and nice size. Handy to the Moscone Centre and main shopping areas. Breakfast very expensive, but Mels Diner is around the block for half the price. Lunch is reasonably priced so not sure who put a price of 32$ plus tips at 25/35%.

I love coming here anytime I want to stay in the city for any reason. I also come to get spa services and products and even eat here. The best part is the green door is right across the street and they are world known and should be. Always easy and with valet it's a breeze

My husband and I stayed at the intercontinental for a staycation to celebrate our anniversary! Everything went so well! We had a beautiful corner room with amazing views, we had access to the executive level- which was worth the price for the beautiful display of food and beverages! The bed was comfortable and the staff was kind to send us...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
