Absolutely loved my stay here. First "big" trip overseas as a female solo traveller and I couldn't have felt more at ease at the place. The pictures are 100% accurate and everything is exactly as advertised. Rooms are tidy and clean and they're cleaned daily, bathrooms are also maintained to a really high standard - which is a great credit...

Absolutely loved staying at this charming bijou hotel. Very comfortable, cosy bedrooms and immaculately clean bathrooms. The friendly staff, though, made this the best introduction to SF we could have hoped for: helpful, generous, full of suggestions. So glad we stayed here when we got engaged, as it was really special. Would recommend highly and stay again when in SF.

Friendly staff. Very clean rooms and bathroom/showers with plenty of shower products and clean towels. There is also a nice patio outside. Breakfast is provided and cookies in the evening. The area does attract a lot of homeless people but I did not feel unsafe walking from the BART station to the hotel.

I loved the friendly, fun vibe and the awesome interior design of this place. It surpassed my expectation and I will stay again next time! I was initially apprehensive about sharing restrooms but the place is so clean with such lovely decore that it felt very comfortable and was seriously so cool.

We found this place last minute and we were very pleased. It is friendly, fair priced, clean, great breakfast and great location. A bit of homeless people on this street but they are harmless and if you walk just around the corner you find great restaurants and shops.

Nice place, very clean, big rooms, great shower facilities. The breakfast facilities are pretty good as well for a hostel. Nice touch as well with the board in reception listing cool events in the city that week. OK it is in an interesting part of town but that adds to the charm!

Great breakfast, clean rooms and bathrooms, plus helpful and friendly staff. The location is a bit dodgy, as there are a lot of homeless people and people selling drugs right outside the Hotel, but you will also find trendy bars and shops in the Mission area. This is a good Hotel if you want an inexpensive place to stay in...

Since i picked a hostel to stay in SF, my expectations were very low. I am amazed with the cleanness of common showers and the bathrooms. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They serve an high continental breakfast. Also they serve coffee, water all day long. And Staisha...you are a friendly and fantastic host!!

I'm a frequent guest in San Francisco and I stayed in places ranging from $50/night dumps to 5* hotels with $50 breakfast. I can honestly say this is the best value you can get for your money. Yes there are few drawbacks but they are mitigated with thoughtful service. People working there are the kindest and most helpful people I...

Really enjoyed our stay here - we opted for one of the rooms with a shared bathroom. The room itself was super clean with a really comfy bed. Generally didn't have any problems getting into the showers (which were always immaculate) and the hotel provides free robes and slippers for getting to and from the bathroom. Breakfast is really nice...

Staying in Mission District

Neighbourhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in the country.
