My family and I stayed at the Parc 55 during our roadtrip through California. We found the location of the hotel to be ideal -- right near the subway station, the Powell street cable car stop, shopping, and restaurants. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean, and the service was outstanding. I especially appreciated the helpful concierge and how the hotel responded to text messages for requests (like requests for extra towels). The room was as quiet as can be expected in a city, and the valet parking was extremely efficient and convenient (well worth the cost). The only issues we had with the hotel were: 1) being told that the room would automatically be cleaned, but we later found out that we had to request room cleaning; and 2) the delivery of an extra blanket for our sofa bed, which took a bit longer than expected (but which was appropriately handled by the front desk).

I had one other issue, but cannot blame the hotel for it. Rather, I believe the Hilton Honors app may be to blame, as I have had the issue at another Hilton hotel. Nevertheless, I will mention it here for the wary traveler. The app allowed me to choose my room and check-in via the app, which I did. However, at the hotel, I was given a different (less favorable) room. When I pointed out that this wasn't the room I selected via the app, the hotel was apologetic and upgraded me to suitable room. But, again, this has happened at another Hilton hotel to me, so I think this is a problem that Hilton should address.

In any event, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Parc 55 Hotel.

This is a typical Hilton hotel in terms of the soaps, sheets and towels that you will see in the room. My room also had a coffee maker and a refrigerator. I did not use the restaurant or parking.

Take the BART from the airport. The hotel is right next to a station, a VERY short walk.

I found the front desk agent Maria particularly helpful. She was able to point out things in the neighborhood and gave me some directions. The concierge is also available, but was busy when I arrived.

The design of the hotel is very interesting and I would call it 80's-esq though I don't know anything about architecture. The rooms have these great bay windows which makes it nice to take in the skyline views.

Stayed here for a total of 5 nights during our recent visit to San Francisco. Great location, nearby is the Powell Street Bart station and the cable car. Food choices are plentiful around the hotel. Union square was walking distance from the hotel.

Checking in was fast, front desk personnel were very friendly. The room was clean and big enough for our family of four. Size of the bed was a bit of a squeeze for two people but it was adequate for a good night's sleep coupled with the heater/air conditioner. Coffee machine and mini ref is also available. Wifi was a available if you signed up or are a member of Hilton rewards.

Bathroom size is ok, it was clean and there was adequate water pressure. Amenities such as hair dryer, soap, shampoo and body wash are available but no toothbrush and toothpaste.

Overall, it was a good stay. Would consider staying here again when in San Francisco.

We used HH points for the room, and then were pleasantly surprised as Diamond members with a no-cost upgrade (after getting earlier emails offer paid upgrades) to a junior suite on the 27th floor. The location is great, two blocks from the south terminus of the cable cars to the Wharf and North Beach. The room was spacious and clean. The cleaning crew left us plenty of bottled water (perhaps the daily tip helped). Surprised there was very little drawer space. TV selection was limited; couldn't even get A's or Giants games. Connecting to WiFi was difficult but with unlimited date it was a problem. The two of us had $36/day credits to use at the restaurant but the buffet breakfast is an outrageous $36 each. We could get fruit, muffins, cereal, coffee etc., which we kept around $36. A nice service person topped off our coffee the first two days but a nasty little guy refused (after ignoring several requests), telling us to spend $4.50 for another one. We reported him to the concierge. Checking out is fast and simple.

Spent a very nice Valentines weekend in San Francisco. As always, hotels (and parking) are at a premium in the City, and we while we usually avoid the downtown area hotels we noticed that Hilton has a new property right on Market St. (Cyril Magnin St.); Parc 55. I don’t know how long it has been open under the Hilton name, but it’s a beautifully appointed hotel. The valet is pull through and the lobby is classically located one floor above the street level.

We opted to ride BART in from Pleasanton this time, (city parking rates vary, but the usual is $60+) and exited right at Market St. Literally steps from the hotel. By the way, round trip BART from Pleasanton was $14.20 and parking at the station is free on weekends.

Parc 55 online nightly rate was quite a bit higher than the rates at the Marina District motels we are accustomed to, but at decided to call them directly. So, the hotel’s rates can change significantly within days and we ultimately received an extremely competitive rate for our two night stay. Worth mentioning AAA, ARP or Hilton Honors when you speak with them.

The hotel is ideally located. It is well staffed with friendly, courteous and professional team members. The hotel interior is clean and appointed with a nice restaurant/bar. Rooms are typical Hilton and come with good entertainment features, fridge and ample closet space. Beds, linen and overall comfort are on par with upscale accommodations for the local.

San Francisco is pricey no doubt, but I think Parc 55 offers good value at a competitive price. It is worth checking their prices and looking for online deals from them.

Happy travels!.

Location: you really can't beat this location. The BART station is right across the street. You're also steps away from Market Street (with the Muni busses/streetcar), 1 street over from the Powell Street cable car station, and 2 blocks from Union Square. I see people have complained about its location by the Tenderloin. There's about 2-3 blocks before you are TRULY in the Tenderloin, and there are many hotels between this one and there. At no point did I ever feel in danger in this area with my family. People may come up to you and ask for money, but no more here than anywhere else in San Francisco.

Service: I'd like to thank Maria at the front desk for her very welcoming service. All staff members acknowledged us with a hello or at least a head nod and a smile.

Rooms: Considering the great rate we got on Hotwire, the room FAR exceeded the price. As a Hilton Honors member, we were upgraded to a high-floor room with a spectacular view of the bay (right over Oracle Park), Transamerica Pyramid, Saleforce Tower, and south toward Potrero Hill. No noise issues that high up. Beds were very comfortable.

Amenities: We didn't stay long enough to try the amenities or restaurants. But the offerings looked good.

Would DEFINITELY stay again.

My friend and I decided to celebrate my birthday by staying in the city for a night and play tourists (we live in near by town) We found the Parc 55, got good rates and booked. We were not disappointed. The hotel is seriously a few steps from the BART Powell station and the Union Square cable car circle.. We arrived early (noonish) thinking we could leave our luggage, and were surprised to learn we could check in. The front desk gentlemen upgraded our rooms to corner with views and couldn't have been more accommodating...

The rooms were clean and well appointed with coffee service facilities, which really is a plus since there is no room service. But for us the big sell was the service. Everyone and I mean everyone who helped us at the hotel was great: from the front desk to the server in the bar (great happy hour btw) . My friend and I joked that we felt we were staying in a much ritzier place with the way we were treated.

The location is central and we cabbed it to North Beach for dinner, as you might have to for other sights in the city as a tourists but I would definitely go back.

Hotel has great location, less than 5-minute walk from BART station stop which allows you to only spend $10 getting there from airport instead of a more expensive cab ride. Hotel is also right across the street for cable car turnaround stop which takes you to Fisherman's Wharf and other places. We stayed here the night before our cruise and hotel was about a 10-15 minute cab ride to the port.

We checked in a bit early, and our room was ready which was nice. When we arrived, our luggage was taken and was in our room shortly after checking in. The front desk was professional and helpful. Our room was decent size and had ample closet space for clothing. The room was in good condition, but the decor was kind of "blah", could use a refurbish. Room had king size bed, which was very comfortable, room also had the standard amenities. Hotel had restaurants but when we checked the menu the prices were too high for us.

Overall, it is good hotel to stay for business or pleasure.

We decided to stay in the Union Square area this time and as a member of the Hilton Honor program this was an easy choice.
Very professional and friendly check-in lady who gave us a room with a nice view upon request.
12th floor had a nice view towards the TransAmerica building.
The rooms was nice even if a bit dated.
My only negative point is that the queen beds are really small. This was our last stop on a 2 weeks road-trip and definitely the smallest we had…
The Bathroom with a tub had everything and good size.
The hotel has 7 elevators so you just push in your floor from the outside and an elevator is immediately ready which was really nice.
The guys at the valet parking also very friendly and efficient and the car came within minutes of request.
Easy access to shopping and eating options. Just a few stepd away from Union square and the Westfield/ San Francisco shopping center on Market street with Nordstrom and Bloomingdales among many other shops. On Market street also other shops and Starbucks.
A small Turkish café also just outside for morning coffee and pastries.
I loved this hotel and would definitely come back if staying in this area of SF.
However I must unfortunately mention that this area has a huge homeless problem (more than Fisherman’s Wharf) and this might pull down the experience a bit even if it has nothing to do with the hotel, only the area.

Go to their website. Click on "Hotel Info" in the upper left corner of the screen. Scroll to the bottom and on the right, you should see something that says, "Customer Support", click on it. In the upper right corner, click on "Contact Us". Fill out the information with you question which will send email to them. I contacted them before my stay there and they were pretty quick with replying back to me. Hope it helps. Very nice place and good location.
