We had to visit the SF Veteran's Hospital and chose this hotel for its close proximity. Only stayed one night, but loved how close it was to Sutro Heights Park and the VA. Lot to see within walking distance including the ocean and the Cliff House. We stayed in room 102 with 3 adults. The room itself was spacious. It...

The Seal Rock Inn is located near Lands End and Ocean Beach. We reserved 3 nights, but ended up staying for 4 nights. Our stay was fabulous! We were given great advice from the front desk, when we needed it. The room had the most amazing view! We had a nice fireplace in our room. I can't say enough good...

It's in a great location. You can walk to the Cliffhouse and sutro baths. The entire Lands End area if a fantastic hike. Be sure to go far enough to catch the view of the GG Bridge. The hotel itself is old but well maintained. My room was huge. I didn't have any issues with the room.

We stayed in this hotel with two of our teen children. It was great because of the twin beds provided. The hotel is older but the room we were in was very well kept and had been remodeled fairly recently. It was in a nice quiet location near the ocean and parks/trails. Takes awhile to drive across to things like...

Stayed 4 nights in October 2016 on vacation from Minneapolis, MN USA. Our room (see pics) was a large 3rd floor, 2 queen bed, fireplace room which looked north and northwest out large picture windows. This is a 1960s hotel-motel with lots of redwood and outdoor 'hallways' to the rooms. There is an elevator which makes it easier. If you...

We love the location BUT that's where the love ends! I totally agree with the review submitted by Nancy D. The room smelled, the carpet and bathroom floor were such that I kept my socks on at all times. I took pictures of the dirty surfaces in the bathroom, see attached. The sheets were rumpled, had they been properly laundered?...

If you need Wi-Fi and major network/cable t.v. this is not the place for you. We reserved three nights on the third floor for the view. Their router signal didn't reach the third .. first and second floors were ok. I told the manager about the problem. He told me his cell phone got a four bar signal." The problem...

Ants in the room. Furniture old. Needed to be cleaned up. Would never stay again. I started spraying Rolex all over. I wouldn't even make coffee there. We stayed 2 notes because it was close to wharf. One block from cliff house and sutra park.

The room smelled when we checked in, a musty, unrelenting odor. The room had worn-out furnishings and I’m pretty sure the dirty carpet is the same from 50 years ago when this rundown flophouse was built. Here’s our experience: When we washed up for the night we found that we each had one small thin towel, worn and scratchy. We...

If you are looking for the la-dee-dah San Francisco hotel experience, with high-end accommodations and fancy accoutrements, the Seal Rock Inn is not for you. But if you want a large space and a comfortable room at a reasonable price, Seal Rock is a great choice. Seal Rock Inn is located just a couple of blocks from Seal Rock and...
