Traditional and elegant, 5 star in every way!
Rooms large and smartly decorated, LeLabo toiletries, lovely shops in the Hotel (Vive La Mode, my favorite) food in the Laurel Court and live piano music.

Although we live in SF and have a beautiful place, I've spent many evenings at this grand hotel with my husband just to feel like a "tourist" and get pampered. This gem of a hotel sits on top of eclectic Nob Hill where there is...More

My wife and I spent a few days in San Francisco and were very pleased with our decision to stay at the Fairmont. Beautiful classic hotel. Our highlights of the hotel was definitely visiting the Tonga room & Hurricane Bar. We loved the music, drinks...More
I got an upgrade and my room was looking out on the Bay including Alcatraz Island and th Coit Tower/telegraph Hill. Honestly, I did not need much more, I never even closed my curtains because of that luxurious view that I will miss for the...More
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that
followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.

Yeah, did all that. Hence my conscious decision to go ahead and use the tourist forum to discuss my issue, if only to let people know I don't mean to give this property all the lowest marks possible (stars) on all counts after praising their good service! I'm knocking myself out here trying to volunteer my time to making it right. Failing all attempts. As I wrote, I get an error page after completing the Delete action perfectly. But thanks for taking the time yourself, Alan! I appreciate the effort.
