From the moment we walked it, until we left - we were treated extremely well. This place is 1st class. Check-in was quick & easy. The bar & restaurant, off the main floor were perfect. The gym & Spa were never too crowded. The employees...More
Although we live in SF and have a beautiful place, I've spent many evenings at this grand hotel with my husband just to feel like a "tourist" and get pampered. This gem of a hotel sits on top of eclectic Nob Hill where there is...More

Thank you for taking the time to share this review. We appreciate you being a loyal and local guest. We are thrilled to know you enjoy visiting our property and we look forward to welcoming you and your family again soon!
The location and grandeur of this hotel is super. Great central hub to lots of local nearby places. Staff service vary from great (Derek) to average in the restaurant. Food is good and although breakfast is limited in choice, it is nevertheless quite sufficient.
I come here mostly on business and this is my first choice hotel. The night life in bar is always hopping. This past stay I had a room overlooking the bay. If you get a chance, go to the top floor for a spectacular panorama...More
It lives up to the hype. We stayed in the tower with a signature view (gorge). Of course all the staff was polite. They provide robes, even for my 6 yr old. We had to ask for slippers, I'm not sure why they just weren't...More

Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that

followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
First, nothing at the Fairmont is free, not even water. We had room service for breakfast or went to a local spot called "The Plow" and that place is phenomenal for breakfast.

Yeah, did all that. Hence my conscious decision to go ahead and use the tourist forum to discuss my issue, if only to let people know I don't mean to give this property all the lowest marks possible (stars) on all counts after praising their good service! I'm knocking myself out here trying to volunteer my time to making it right. Failing all attempts. As I wrote, I get an error page after completing the Delete action perfectly. But thanks for taking the time yourself, Alan! I appreciate the effort.
