Friendly staff, warm welcoming attitude. Some disappointments, though: we stayed 9 nights there. We had to go to the reception desk twice because of the keycard problems; I found it annoying. Also, we were forced to swap the rooms twice because of the building construction noise and of the power problems in our room, which couldn't be fixed soon. The...

We stayed at the Inn at Union Square for a long weekend in January 2017. A small entrance and a small welcome desk, tiny elevator up - it is a small boutique hotel with outstanding service. Our room was a great size (much larger than I thought after seeing the entrance) and was in modern style, recently renovated. A continental...

I travel to SF a fair bit mostly for business. Usually stay at Big Box hotels. Last minute trip found pretty tight availability. Found "Inn" thru Hotel Tonight and decided to give it a try after checking Tripadvisor review. I was very pleased. My room was Very clean, which is my #1 priority. The room and Bed was also very...

Tiny hotel with European feel. The rooms are very nice, lots of investment to upgrade an older, small hotel into a nice place. We arrived during renovation (not ideal) but could tell from the completed work this was going to be a very nice place by summer 2017. The rooms have NO VIEW. If that is important, go someplace else,...

We were only in San Francisco for one night, and ended up staying at the Inn at Union Square - what a great decision! The staff here are super friendly and very helpful. The location is incredible, right by the Union Square where a lot was going on (live bands, ice rink, etc.). We had rented a car, so we...

For San Francisco, this is a good deal. Location is ideal. This is a good choice for those seeking a more personalized place to stay. This is a small hotel with attentive staff, good snacks, great breakfast and charm. It was tad bit noisy.

The Inn was absolutely wonderful. Front-desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful up on arrival, cookies on every floor, free breakfast (pretty good spread!), very comfortable rooms and beds. The devil is in the details when it comes to hotels and they really have everything figured out. I will definitely be returning!

My wife and I have been staying at the Inn at Union Square for over thirty years and still find it convenient and more friendly than larger hotels in the area. The breakfast is included as are snacks and wine in the evenings. The remodeling underway including new beds and general fix up is generally an improvement, although appears to...

I highly recommend this hotel and enjoyed my stay there. It has a small B&B feel right in the heart of Union Square. I enjoyed the community vibe as there is a little lounge on each floor with a nightly wine and cheese happy hour, cookies and a morning breakfast. It was lovely to sit and meet other travelers over...
