Billing. When we checked in we spoke to front desk to ensure they had the right reward number on file. They assured us they did, but they had to call us after checkout to reverify the number because it was wrong in their system. Room. The alarm clock did not work. I reported it but it was never replaced. Room....

The Ritz is a beautiful hote in a great neighborhood of San Francisco. The rooms have recently been redone and are beautiful. Small touches like the Nespresso, amenities and turn down service make this a truly luxurious stay. Where the hotel fell short for us was on service. There was no bellman or staff to greet us and help with...

This is a great centrally located hotel. Just steps from Chinatown, Union Square, Nob Hill. The staff is terrific and the rooms are top notch. By far, this was the best customer service I've received at any hotel in SF

The RItz Carlton SF is a special location that will appeal to the luxury seekers who prefer brands they know, as well as those who want a beautiful and unique hotel without feeling like they are staying in a chain. The architecture mixed with the interior renovation works seamlessly and the room windows actually open. The Ritz does not have...

Stayed three nights with our teens. Checked in early with no problems or complaints. Check in included warm steamed towels which was nice after the airport chaos. Rooms were very nice with a small couch by the window. House keeping was good. Location was central for all the sight seeing we did. Overall service was friendly and helpful. Would definitely...

Beautiful, classy hotel! Everything first class. Exceptional service. Beautiful facilities for banquets. Large rooms. Comfy robes. Good walking distance to Union Square and Chinatown. Anything further take a cab. Streets are steep!

We had high expectations when we reserved this hotel and I cannot say that we were disappointed in any way. We stayed on the concierge level and highly recommend the experience. We were delighted by the delightful ambiance and the many options available to guests. The service was top-notch. It was amazing how quiet and comfortable the room was.

Not sure why this review didn't come up on my feed but anyways.. this is a very nice hotel with a great location and real professional staff. My title comes from my perspective that the overall look, although luxurious, seems a bit outdated ( but again that's only my personal opinion). Also I thought it was fun to be so...

Very nice place, real professional staff and amazing location. The title comes from a very elegant but perhaps a bit outdated look (of course that's my personal opinion)... we had a very good time there and very fun to be so close to China town

You can always rely on the Ritz in San Francisco to give superior service, wonderful decor and good food. Our room had 3 closets, and ample drawer space. The room service is quick and the table is quite elegant. Staff was very helpful and friendly. All around, luxury abounds!!

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique neighbourhood decorated with colourful shops, historic streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands, tourist shops, jewelry stores, fortune tellers, temples and restaurants come together to create a world unto itself in this historic neighbourhood.
