I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for a conference I was attending. The building is beautiful inside and out. The service is amazing, just as you would expect at a Ritz-Carlton. And it was the little things that stuck out for me - free overnight shoe...More
Thank you for taking good care of my daughter, mom and I this week. This was an important trip for us and our weary heads slept so well under your care. Leo is the bomb! He took such good care of us too on the...More
We stayed here for three nights last week and the suite, food and staff could not have been better. The Club concierge, Alexander, was unfailingly charming and helpful both before and during our stay. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and the Club Lounge...More
From arrival to departure, we were treated exceptionally well. Great restaurant recommendations and transportation to nearby shopping (that’s not well known, you must ask for it). Wonderful rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. Just a wonderful, pleasant stay. Can’t go wrong with the Ritz!
Staying at the Ritz-Carlton, SF, for a family vacation from March 22-26, 2018. This 5-star hotel is located within a short walking distance to Chinatown. The front desk receptionists and valet staff were extremely professional. We have two rooms: 1 king bed and 2 queen...More
As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique neighbourhood decorated with colourful shops, historic streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands,
tourist shops, jewelry stores, fortune tellers, temples and restaurants come together to create a world unto itself in this historic neighbourhood.

We enjoyed the food, the lounge, the service. Thursday 'lunch' spread was pretty much the same as Friday, but we really liked the salad options. I did not enjoy breakfast. Lots of options, but I expected more flavor. My girls and I definitely thought it was worth it, particularly since we were there to enjoy the hotel. The 'buffet' is out most of the day. If you are with a group, it's great to be able to accommodate lots of different tastes and appetites at different times without having to wait for service. If you like to drink champagne or wine during the day, or alcohol in the evening, that's added value. I was a little disappointed to find that the tubs were outdated and not inviting. Our views on club level were terrific (Outside, facing Bay and Coit Tower).
