We booked three nights at the Civic Center Inn - fortunately, without reading the reviews on Trip Advisor beforehand... The price (we booked online and got a room for USD 50.- / nt) was unbeatable and the room spacious and very clean, the bathroom also very clean and quite modern. The only two negative things are a) the smell of...

Where do I begin.... I was charged immediately when I was told by customersvc that I.wouldnt be...than had to call and complain so I could pay at check in. They said I could either.pay in cash or with card at checkin but when I checked in they said I had to use a card. The rooms had no channels on...

Stayed at this property recently, and while wary, was expecting something akin to Travelodge, or some of the other one-star chain properties I have recently visited. Also, as an avid backpacker and hostel-traveler, I'm used to a wide variety of less-than-ideal living situations. I've stayed on hard planks in Malaysia, bunked between German students who didn't change their socks for...

The staff is friendly, the room is crappy but clean. The only good thing about this hotel is that have free parking included (first come first served basis) and is really close to downtown (market st) but this region is not good to stay if you are on vacation, only if you are there for a night and need to...

The hotel is located in the infamous tenderloin district which is not a nice neighbourhood to say the least. The room was ok and seemed pretty clean and new and not worn down as many of the other hotels / inns / motels in this particular area. The free WIFI only worked in the lobby which wasn't made clear when...

If you reserve direct online with the hotel, you can get some pretty good rates at times when other hotels are gouging. The parking is a plus, the neighborhood sketch but improving. The worst rooms are on the back of the building overlooking Crackhead Alley. Avoid at all costs. Other than that, can be a real bargain; Little Henry's good...

Everywhere smells like bum pee. The parking lot, the hallways, and the room itself had a questionable smell. The wall had been recently patched up - I'm assuming someone punched a hole in it. The door was also recently patched & painted where the chain look should have been, which made me think someone had kicked the door open. There...

I was in town to watch the Dodgers take on the Giants, for what promised to be a fun filled weekend. My first impression of the lobby was that it was nice a cozy and thought to myself that the rest of the place would be just as nice. In any event that though was soon squashed when I took...
