Stayed here for 3 nights this past weekend - was in town for the PAC-12 championship at Levi Stadium and needed an affordable place for us to lay our heads - This place was it. Yes, it's a bit run down, but from our visit, that is really the only negative we can give. Check in was smooth - the...

Chose this hotel since it was cheap, last minute, and in the center of a touristy area. Im not from SF and wanted to see the sites. Great call. Rooms are kind of gross, but it is very central to everything important. During the night time, bars in the area get incredibly packed but can still be a lot of...

Easy access to Golden Gate Bridge, and other attractions. Affortable hotel with small room with AC. Wifi is not too strong but useable. Hotel is suitable for families. Therefore, free parking but parking area is small and tight.

In July 2015 we stayed at this hotel when it was a different name. My girlfriends and I do the Avon 39 which is a 2 day 39.3 Mike walk for breast cancer. Last year there was no problem leaving our car an extra night while we walked. This year when we made the reservation we noticed the name change....

Clean. Conveniently located. Free parking. Easy access to area sights! Could use an update as far as decor but it was hassle free lodging. We stayed for one night and then a short drive later we visited San Francisco.

Really worth staying here, if you're looking for cheap hotel with free parking in the center of Saf Fran! For fair price you'll get nice big room, clean bathroom, coffemaker, fridge, etc, free (!) parking. And most city's attraction can be reached on foot. Of course it's not 5 stars or boutique hotel. But for this price I doubt we...

The room in this hotel was spacious, clean and comfortable and value for money if you are on a tight budget. The staff members were helpful and friendly. The location is good as it is less than 1 min walk to the public bus stop. Also lots of places to eat around the corner of the hotel. They also arrange tours and...

Didn't like it at all. We had to be moved to another room. Heat was working. The hotel looks as if nobody as if nobody works there. The receptionist was unkind, hallways were dirty, the trash disposal was next to my room so it smelled terrible!!

I was looking for a place to stay a couple of nights in SF where I could park for free and save. Because, I did not want to use my car here. I succeed and found this motel. Pity it was on the tale end of Lombard Street, over 20 minutes walking from the interesting Fisherman's Warf. But it was...

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
