We stayed here in September (summer in San Francisco). Hotel is nice and clean, room are well presented and good bathroom. Coffee served in the lobby each morning was appreciated and the managers drinks were fun after a busy day exploring. This is a busy hotel, completely understand that but the front reception staff made you feel like a number...

My daughter and I stayed here four nights and would highly recommend it. Our room was beautifully decorated, the beds very comfy and the bathroom luxurious. The service was friendly as well. The location is close to Union Square with plenty of good restaurants close by. There are two large lounge type rooms with a fireplace and comfortable seating, where...

Contrary to recent reviews, this hotel has the perfect location on Geary, 3 blocks from Union Square and the Powell St cable car, two blocks from theaters, about six blocks to both BART and China town. The rooms are typical size for a SF Boutique hotel and nicely decorated and appointed. Free WI Fi, free tea and coffee available in...

I stayed a whole week at the Hotel Monaco. Service was terrific - helpful and friendly. The room decor is a little over the top - the trademark of the Monaco - but very comfortable and well appointed rooms. Great shower and nice bed. Fireplaces in two 'living rooms' downstairs were nice, as well as morning coffee and newspapers. I...

I stayed at Hotel Monaco while attending a business conference on the last week of Feb. I originally booked at Intercontinental Hotel but the price was outrageously expensive at over $600 per night. So I cancelled and booked here at more reasonable $270 per night. It is a 15~20 minute walk to Moscone Center and $7~8 taxi ride. If your...

I traveled from SoCal to SF for a meeting and stopped to surf along the way...my car was filled with surfboards, wetsuits, etc. I used valet parking for the security it offered. Valet was quick and attentive. Check-in was professional, polite, attentive and was upgraded to a beautiful suite. Suite was as large as any I've stayed in. Beautiful rooms...

I spent 6 whole nights at this hotel on a business trip. Every day called for going to the Moscone center, so it was a lot of walking for me, however, the hotel was not too far (otherwise anywhere between $7 to $10 for a cab ride). The staff was nice but not really needed there... too many people for...

This hotel was a horrible experience. Very small rooms and in a bad area. Also, I ordered over priced food and it was disgusting! My recommendation is to stay away! They try toile money by over charging for parking, food and amenities.

I stayed here over a weekend between two business trips, and had I known what the neighborhood is like, I would have gone somewhere else. The hotel itself is lovely: attractive (albeit a little quirky) décor, clean and well maintained sleeping rooms, kind and helpful staff, complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and wine, free wifi, and an excellent restaurant with speedy...

It is located in the heart of the city (near Union Square), rooms are nice, clean and attractive and personell is very friendly!
