This is a nice little house with a beautiful location overlooking the converging rivers and railroad trail. Note railroad. The noise is a little overwhelming but part of the history of the area. Bring a white noise machine. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. It had a separate sitting room and deck. The hill up to the house is... More

The setting was perfect and within walking distance of downtown Harper's Ferry. The AT runs right through town, great location to start a wonderful hike! Room was very nice and house was charming. One of the best things about Ledge House was the innkeeper, Monique. She was the BEST!!! Had snacks for hikers and packed us some sandwiches for our... More

My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights on the first floor room, which was spacious and comfortable. The house was great - it has spectacular views and there's an easy short-cut straight into the center of town. We were also big fans of the chickens. But we were most blown away with the hospitality of the host, Monique. In... More

My husband and I just got back from an overnight road trip to Harper's Ferry. We have been there before but only for the day. I booked Suite1 at the Ledge House and couldn't be happier with the choice. Our suite was comfortable and charming with a glorious king bed and decorated with interesting antiques and photographs. The view from... More

Ledge House has an outstanding view of Maryland Heights and the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers, morning sunrise with the mist was memorable. The porch can actually be seen from the top of the Heights, kinda fun. It may be well to remember, however, that most breakfast guests enjoy interacting amongst themselves and not be treated to self... More

Monique was a fantastic host. Very welcoming and hospitable. She made an amazing breakfast for us and when we arrived the day before told us about Harper's Ferry and the worthwhile sites to see and things to do. Absolutely stay here on your visit.

To begin I would like to state that the person who usually runs this B&B was on holidays so this is not a review on the normal operations but more of a commentary on how my wife and I we're handled as we ran into several difficulties and on the overall cleanliness of the establishment, something which everyone who has... I regret the displeasure that this guest expresses. We did receive an email from the guest stating that he would not be paying for his stay, very early in the day, because of the temperature of the room. At that time we offered him the ability to leave our location and stay in a hotel because we were unable to... More

My wife and I arrived into Harper's Ferry via Amtrak's Capitol Limited, train 30, from Chicago IL. Overall, we had a good experience but travelers should take note of the following: Arrival By Train: Our train arrived nearly on-time into Harper's Ferry, but often the train will run late. We kept this in mind when planning for this trip. Pros:... More

I surprised my wife this weekend with a 50th Birthday get away. She had no idea that I had this planned. Wanted to give a special shout out to Monique. She'd made me a birthday cake and helped me surprise my wife. Everything went as planned. The ledge house b and b is a nice place to stay at with... More

This was my first bed and breakfast. The location and scenes that this inn provided was amazing! Cool, comfortable and great breakfast made by chef Monique. It is very close to town and the view from our deck was amazing. Our room was very clean and "roomy". The TV picked up DC stations which was a plus for me. This... More
