We wanted to stay in a local hotel, not a chain. We were disappointed. It is somewhat run down. We booked our room 6 weeks in advance, and were put in a 1st floor room directly behind the stairs. When we walked out of the door we faced the trash barrel and the utility closet.

First off, it's a motel, not a hotel. I suspect that "Hotel Moab" just sounded better than any name containing "Motel" and "Moab". Room doors open on an outside walkway. Pros: Friendly, courteous staff, clean room, comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, nice pillows, fridge and

Nice hotel. The room was spacious. The heating system worked well (it was 9 degrees on the night that I arrived, so I'm glad). The shower ran well. Towels were plentiful. There was a clean microwave, a clean refrigerator, an iron, and an ironing board. The prices for the rooms

Greetings MohunBiswas, We would like to thank you for taking time out of your schedule to write a review of our property. We are happy to hear you found your room warm and inviting on such a cold night. Our housekeepers work hard to try to ensure each guest feels at home in their room. They will appreciate you mentioning they succeeded. We also appreciate you mentioning our competitive rates and value for the room and the amenities like Keurig coffee, fridge and microwave you found useful during your stay. Nothing like a good warm cup of coffee or tea to warm up with. We look forward to being your base the next time you are in the area. I am sure you will have an amazing time exploring Arches and Canyonlands!. They are truly beautiful parks! Please do not hesitate to call us directly or visit our website at: Hotelmoabdowntown.com to book your future stay. We look forward to seeing you again! Kind Regards, Jasper B. Office Manager

The room was clean and nice and fairly new sized for two to three. Our check in went smoothly though we had to wait a bit for the receptionist to actually show up (I think minimum staff this time of year.. she’s probably doing double duty). The beds were clean and the mattress

Relax in one of our luxurious, newly remodeled rooms.
A group of my family stayed at this hotel lasts October. My brother had made the reservations online (I think through booking com). He also spoke with someone at the hotel several times before we arrived. (However, I think it was a different person each time he called). They still messed up our reservations. He had called to cancel a couple rooms ahead of time, but when we arrived we found out that one had not been cancelled - even though he had supposedly spoken to the manager to do the cancellation. We ended up paying one night for the room that they did not cancel!

Most of the rooms have been updated. Checked beds when we arrived and no bed bugs. Room very clean. Spoke to some other people that were also staying there and they had no problems either. Believe they dealt with that problem.
