Front desk staff don’t wear a mast to prevent Covid transmissions. Vending machines don’t work. Even if you tell them in the morning that you want housekeeping in your room they won’t do it. Subpar service.

Pros: Good size room, was clean and it had a microwave and refrigerator. There was no coffee maker but coffee was regularly available in the lobby.
Cons: The A/C did not work. Luckily the temperature at that time of year was nice outside so the room never got too hot. The walls were also paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. They promote free HBO however, not a single channel was in HD and the HBO literally looked like someone was pirating a movie by filming it from another TV. There was no breakfast of any sort and parking could fill up quickly so if you stayed on one side of the building further from the overflow parking lot (as we did), you had a bit of a hike to the room. There were signs everywhere that everyone should wear masks but yet many times I saw the staff and the front desk clerk not wearing a mask. They also were a bit stingy on the supplies, providing us with just one roll of toilet paper for a 3 night stay.

Liked · Nice , clean lobby , good size room , clean bathroom . Laminate hardwood flooring in the room which is so much better than a dirty carpet . Friendly staff .
Disliked · We had to wait 40 min for the room to be ready . When we entered the room , a bad smell hit us , as a homeless person was there . It was BAD !We found out the smell was coming mainly from the pillows . What we could not understand is how the cleaning person did not notice this horrible smell ! Also , the bed was v squicky from barely touching it. We informed the front desk & were told no other room was available & they would fix this one . When we returned they changed all bedding & brought clean pillows. And semi fixed the bed , was not as squicky . The room still had the lingering bad smell , it was probably embedded in the drapes / walls .We were there for 6 nights & were told they can give us another room for the last 2 nights . Everyday we let steam come in the room from the bathroom, sprayed some cologne on the drapes , left orange peel on the table and some gourmet coffee bags to dissipate the smell . The window was opened continuously. The stink got less & less , not 100 % gone . We travel extensively all over the world & only ONE time this happened to us ! In China . The air conditioner was making a horrible noise , you could also hear the next door one . The hallway was carpeted, big ugly stains on it . Why did they not have laminate floor like in the rooms ? The chair in the room had 2 big whitish stains on it .

Sign says “hot tub” but it has clearly been out of order for a long time. Bad value to price ratio for the area.

Room was fine. Super old mini fridge and yellowing twist knob microwave in rooms

Spend the extra $10 for a different place.

The food within 2 blocks radius was outstanding, including the coffee shops. Glad we didn't get a continental breakfast with our room. Lots to do & see near by. There was 4 of us in the room & for an extra $10 we got the upgraded room & it was worth it. Very spacious for us, with a kitchenette counters between the two queen beds. Comes with a little frig & microwave. We have plenty of counter space. Bathroom was a bit small🤔

Their website says they allow pets under 40 lbs. When we arrived we were informed they don't allow pets. When I showed them their web site they allowed us to have the small dog. I called prior to the stay and Staff said they had breakfast and the pool was open. Wrong! They do not offer breakfast and the pool was not open (it is closed until mid March). The door did not lock. Room did not have a window seat as the room description and pictures showed. The room had pealing paint and around the wall air conditioner/ heater there were gaps big enough to fit your finger in. One of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Do not stay here.

The only positive I can tell you about the hotel is it is in a great location to downtown Moab, Utah. The hotel is totally outdated, with very thin walls and floor, hearing your neighbors’ footsteps. They give you one tiny little bar of soap, thin old towels and linens and ancient bumpy lumpy pillows. The bed was old and hard and very uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi was intermittent and the TV was even a bit blurry. My refrigerator was not on and the man came very quickly and was very nice but it had been unplugged and the plug was inside the drawer and I found dirty water in the pan inside the refrigerator. I also asked the man to help me open the window and it was totally stuck and he did open it for me, and there was a large hole in the screen.

We booked a Junior Suite at the River Valley Lodge but found ourselves in a standard room when we opened the door. The unprofessional staff said they were out of Junior Suites and then refused to compensate us for the difference without the manager's consent. The manager then refused compensation without a conversation with the booking agent - been though we paid DIRECTLY at the hotel. The booking agent said it was the hot's responsibility since we paid directly.

The hotel itself is somewhat shabby - we advise that you look for an updated hotel with professional staff that honors its reservations

Location excellent!! Can walk everywhere in Moab.
Rooms are OK. Basic but clean; comfy bed. Air conditioning great especially on 106 degree days.
Pool and pool deck were perfect to cool off and relax after day of recreating.
Plenty of free parking.
Warning: being your own toiletries! Only provided small bottle of shampoo and the worst soap we've ever seen. Hotel needs to spend another $1 to provide better soap, conditioner and lotion.

Great location. Clean rooms but small. Not a lot of counter space in the bathroom. One elevator in the center so the stairs were much more convenient for us. We were gone all day every day so only interacted with the night staff. She was always friendly and helpful. We didn't require housekeeping services just needed clean towels one evening, they were readily available and given to us with a smile. I thought it was a good value for someone who just needs a hot shower, comfortable bed and quiet room for sleeping. We would definitely stay here again.

Yes, As far as I know, all of the rooms have refrigerators. We were in a single queen room and a family we were with had the two queen both had refrigerators with the small ice box. If you have the smaller ice packs, or the pliable ones, then you should have room to re-freeze them. Hope this helps, Thanks
