From March Covid-10 lock down, we had enough and decided to get back to Moab our favorite destination Inca Inn. Due to Covid Small Family Run Motels and Business are hurting and still Inca Inn continue to provide the same quality service with renovated rooms. I spoke to Victor and Andrea at Front and they showed us how they are taking extra steps in sanitizing each room with HEPA filter and electro static spraying of disinfectant.

During this COVID times, we feel Inca Inn and Outdoor property are best place to stay as you get fresh air and all the rooms are air out with windows open on both sides.
We were able to check in contact less and given a Nice Grab n Go Breakfast at the time of check in, which was very nice and thoughtful.
Our Stay was perfect and we slept very well for next day hike at Arches.
Thanks Guys for wonderful hospitality. We will see you again later in the year..

We stayed here three nights while in Moab as a base for the nearby National Parks of Arches and Canyonlands. It is a renovated budget motel. It was clean with nice beds. Yes, the bathroom is small, but clean with hot water and a hairdryer. Towels are on the small side. Breakfast is included and labeled continental which included eggs, sausage, juice, coffee, cereal, bread (toast, Muffins, donuts) and some fresh fruit. The lady, Andrea did a great job making sure there was enough of everything and constantly refilled items and asked if we needed anything. The housekeeping staff was friendly and provided everything we needed. The linens were nice and clean on a queen size bed. I definitely recommend staying here if in Moab. It is close to the parks. We had to drive to get dinner, but the price difference compared to other hotels in town made it a no brainer to stay here. We stayed towards the end of COVID when regulations were loosening, but felt safe and clean the entire time.

My wife booked this place and I'll admit that I was skeptical. It's a renovated 1940's/1950's old school motor lodge and my expectations were few. That changed as soon as we arrived! The parking area is an old style motor court and it was easy to maneuver and find a generously sized parking space. The check-in was very nice and the gentleman who helped us advised that COVID had reduced some of their services and that the pool was not available due to road construction crews cutting the water line. However, anything we would need just ask. They held true to their promise and all of our needs were met. The room was really clean, the bed was comfy, and it served us well for the four nights we stayed in Moab. It's the best deal in town and I expect the service is up there with the best, too. I plan to stay here again the next time we visit Moab.

This hotel is closed and under renovation; instead we were put at their sister hotel, the Adventure Inn.

Room cleaning only on the surface, still some old beer capsules in some corners of the room and hairs in the bathroom. I was not keen on their brown towels, seeing how the room had been cleaned.

I got charged twice (apparently one of these credit card transactions is still pending -cancelled as per the hotel- until 10th Feb, i.e. 2 weeks since the transaction?) once under Inca Inn and once under Adventure Inn.

Breakfast is basic, which is definitely fine! However, they need to clean the tables between guests and ensure all items are available (they ran out of porridge, we had to ask for brown toasts...).

Convenient location at the North of the city, closer to the parks. Useful and cheap laundry facilities.

As long time visitors to Moab (over 3 decades), we seek out budget motels. Typically a budget motel does not imply dirty, unkempt rooms or lack of attention from onsite management. All were true of our stay in late May of this year. While checking in, we were immediately asked (rather demanded) to rate our stay online - and things went downhill from there. From having to skim the tiny pool to swim to avoiding the guests who were grilling in a parking space, to the dirty bathroom fixtures and unpainted/unspackled holes in the walls, it was dingy. The only attention we received, even after indicating that we needed fresh linens, was to have one of the managers come into our room to ask us if we were leaving (we weren’t; unfortunately we prepaid our stay). Unsatisfactory, even for our low expectations.

Booked this based on other reviews, we were doing a tour of national parks. In total we stayed at 9 different hotels/lodges in Utah, Arizona and Nevada over 17 days. This place was not at the bottom of the list, but close.
The pros: comfortable bed, niceTV, daily housekeeping, fairly clean but small, decent under-window AC kept the room cool but also blew the curtains away from the window, close location to Arches and restaurants, car could be parked right outside the door.
The cons: no plug in sink (I could actually see a rusted cap of some sort down in there), only one lock on door, shower floor was so slippery I had to put down a towel, shower faucets were the old separate types so getting the correct temperature was a struggle and water pressure was weak, fridge didn’t quite work, and smoke alarm was beeping/battery removed by staff but not replaced! 😕. No breakfast onsite, you had to walk 2 doors down to a sister facility, when we got there all there was left was cereal, donuts and coffee. I didn’t actually mind this, but don’t advertise breakfast onsite if you don’t have it. Soft drink machine not working and pool had obviously been empty for quite a while.
I had reservations here for a year and always had trouble getting staff on the phone, never answered my emails either. Although a couple of weeks prior to arrival I did finally get an emailed confirmation.
This place could really be a gem with some freshening up as it's quaint, close to the park and close to restaurants. But if I ever come back to Moab I won’t stay here, there’s got to be places in better shape

First of all, this is an older property, but they've done a pretty good job of updating the rooms. The king bed was comfortable with good pillows. The tv was a large size and worked well. Due to the pandemic, they couldn't serve a breakfast but were thoughtful enough to give us each a breakfast bag consisting of: apple, orange, 2 packaged donuts and a nutrition bar. The pool looked nice, but we didn't use it.
The refrigerator wasn't working too well. We threw out our take out leftovers from dinner as they were barely cool. The door to our room wasn't very flush with the doorway frame. People outside our unit were smoking and it was seeping into our room. We stuffed toilet paper into the frame with out car key!
Now for the bathroom. They had 4 nice tubes of lotion and shampoo, 2 tiny soaps,no kleenex, and no shower cap. The shower had good water pressure . It was very narrow, so if you're bigger than Barbie or Ken, don't drop the soap, you might hit your head. The towels were quite worn and thin. I got up in the middle of the night, and the window sill and sink had some type of teeny bugs on them. Not a super big deal, I guess, if they stay in the john and don't fly at me! The price was reasonable for the "product".

I booked the Inca inn on expedia. The price on the website was $67.00, but it charged us $87.00 a night on the confirmation email. I called expedia right away for the refund, of course they said the hotel refused to do so because we didn't have proof. What a scam and dishonest to do business like this. Expedia was not helpful at all.. Once we arrived, we found there were three boogers on the wall, dirty old bed sheet, and stain on the so-called blanket. The breakfast was even worse, the apples and oranges were old, the fruit bar was mashed inside the package. In addition, my husband gave them one star on the review, but they put 4.1 star instead. Be alert!

Gabby, when you book through OTA like Expedia, we have no control on the price or booking. We run specials on our website all the time for guest to book directly. We Don’t even know how much guest pays through OTA until they arrive and we are not allowed to make any changes. Due to Covid, entire Moab is serving only Grab n Go Breakfast. You should not get mad on us when you reserve through Expedia. Hope you understand our situation.

Previously our favorite moderate cost Moab lodging, the Inca Inn has new out of state owners and seems to be slipping, at least from a cost/benefit perspective.

Room rates have increased significantly under the new owners as we paid about 30% more than last year at the same time. And despite some minor remodeling the toilet leaked and ran constantly, the new sinks are an oddly unusable rectangular shape, the bath towels are small and skimpy, and heavy truck traffic noise made it difficult to get a good nights sleep.

Honestly most of this isn't new other than the leaking toilet, slime mold on the shower curtain and perhaps some bad luck in room selection. But as the room prices have climbed it just doesn't seem like such a good deal anymore.

On the plus side the morning front office help is still friendly and local, and keeps the coffee pot filled and hot. I wish the room cost was still in keeping with that low end but friendly theme.

As we checked out this year my wife said 'I don't think we should come back'. And I have to admit I must agree.

I made a reservation for this hotel and was sent an email confirmation with a price of $110 per weekend night and $90 per weekday night. We are now here and they are charging us $178 for each weekend night and $100 for the weeknight only after complaining when the people staying in the room next door told us they got a military discount. When we complained, they pointed out that the email confirmation said that it was an estimated price, not the actual price. I have never in my life booked a hotel with an estimated price that changed after booking. I guess I will read the fine print more carefully after this experience. Not only that, but the pool is not open, the refrigerator in the room is barely cold, and they didn't come in to clean or make the bed either. The breakfast was very sparse, and even though they advertized that they had homemade bread, it was definitely not homemade. The staff member who checked us in last night, when I asked for a print out of what I would be paying since that is standard procedure everywhere else I've stayed, and is what they did at the last 4 places we stayed at on this trip already, he said he didn't understand what I was asking him and that I should ask in the morning when someone else was there that spoke better English. Seems to me that was because he knew they had changed my rate. The rooms are old fashioned and in need of updating, which I would expect at the rates I was quoted, but not at the rates I'm paying. It was also quite noisy late at night and it was difficult to sleep since the walls are thin. I would definitely not recommend staying here and would give it 0 stars if I could.

I agree with the other answers given here. Our stay was 5 nights and it was just fine. This is a good clean motel to crash in. Just needed a place to sleep at night and catch a shower in the mornings. We were out and about during the daytime and weren't planning on hanging around the motel anyway. Other recommendations for the area: be sure and see Dead Horse Point. Beautiful view! Many miss this because it is a Utah State Park and a separate fee. Well worth it. We also drove up to Red Cliffs lodge. Beautiful drive. Nice lodge and lunch.
