If you are looking for a quick one night stay and nothing fancy, this is a good hotel. It is clean, simple, and has a nice view. Very quiet and just outside the park. There really are not any other hotels within 10 minutes of the Badlands. The Badlands Inn is literally right outside the park which is nice after...

We called for reservations in the afternoon and told them we would be arriving after office hours once we were told they close the office at 7 pm. They said they would leave the key in the black box by office door. I asked them to leave an emergency phone number also just in case we needed to call someone...

Having read so many bad reviews I wasn't expecting much. Very expensive but stay was fine. Had to check in up the road at the Cedar Lodge. Fly's weren't an issue for me as late in season and thunderstorm for most of my stay. I'd have given 5 stars if price had been reasonable.

Clean, simple motel. Surrounded by cows. Very quiet at night. Have to go to Cedar Lodge to check in or eat though. Good view of mountains and prairie. Visiting this time of year means the place is almost empty.

The Badland’s Inn is pretty much the only sleeping option at Badland’s National Park when you can’t get into one of the cabins at the Cedar Pass Lodge. It is older, but the rooms were comfortable and clean so it was OK for a night. It is located just outside the Park and less than a mile from the Cedar...

I am rating it higher than average because i don't care for the alternatives and it has some positives. It is very convenient, right outside the entrance to the park. There is a lodge 3 miles down in the park which is also improperly named. It's a not a lodge. There are individual cabins. The "inn" has very comfortable beds...

The view from all rooms is out of this world. We enjoyed two sunsets and a sunrise. Convenient to the Park. Room was spacious, comfy, and clean. Had everything we needed. Didn't matter, but the towels were amazingly plush!

We had to check in at the main lodge when we arrived at 5.30pm because the office was closed. Luckily it's just a couple of miles away, but still inconvenient for us. The veranda outside the rooms was covered with bird droppings, since birds have made nests on every lamp outside the rooms! Hope we didn't get avian flu or...

Just right outside of the park entrance, managed by Cedar Pass Lodge. Very nice inside. Clean. Bed was comfortable. The floor was laminate wood which to me is cleaner. I would definitely stay there again.

If you want to be close to Badlands National Park, this is the place to stay. Nothing spectacular, but it was clean and very close to Badlands NP and the Ben Reifel Visitors Center. The only place to eat is at Cedar Pass Lodge a mile or so away. The only other options are at Wall 20 some mile away.
