This was actually my first hostel experience and it was super nice. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful and the other guests were really nice too. The communal living room and kitchen were well-stocked with reading materials, tea, and great for conversation and just hanging out. Everything clean, cute, comfortable and within walking distance of downtown, shopping...

A great option if all of the lodging in Crested Butte is full. We got a reasonably priced private room, shared shower. Everything was clean. Nice kitchen. Friendly service. After a relaxing night's sleep, 35 minute drive back up to CB and Kebler Pass for hiking, fall colors, and a walk down Elk Ave.

We had a very warm welcome from the owner and everyone else staying there was also super friendly. We liked being able to use the kitchen and having the private room. It's great that there are options for the dorm or private spaces. Congrats on the expansion Amy.

The private room was perfect for our needs and the public bathrooms were very clean. The location is within walking distance to bars and restaurants. There were a lot of people staying there and we thought the noise could be a problem; however, it was not and we had a great stay. We met so many nice, friendly people during our...

This is a very clean and well organized hostel. I wish more hostels on the mountains were as good as this one! 5 minute walk to the main street (for food and drink, if you don't want to cook). Lots to do around Gunnison. If you are on a motorbike (as I was), there is parking around the back.

Great stay! You're feeling comfortable as soon as you arrive. The place is dog-friendly which makes it even better. Whether you want some peace and quiet or to socialise, both are possible here, the host and guests are great people!

This hostel is warm, cheerful, homey and inviting. I love how brightly the interior is decorated while the outdoors has wonderful spaces to lounge in the sun or rock in a hammock or eat at a picnic table. The kitchen is spacious, the living room is huge!, the owner Amy is super friendly, and the overall ambiance is relaxing and...

The Wanderlust was clean and cozy. Amy and her staff were super helpful in navigating the area, and worked hard to accommodate an extended stay when my travel plans changed. I used the hostel as a home base when I was doing wildflower hikes during the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival in mid-July. The hostel served as a good connecting point...
