Christian and Claudia are perfect hosts, attentive, friendly and extremely helpful. Ours was a quickly arranged trip following a death in the family, and, by-the-way, our wedding anniversary. Christian went the extra mile to help me arrange excellent activities for my grieving wi

Dear Trip614034, thank you for your time spent to write the review, we really appreciate this! We are grateful for your choice of the Sweet Biscuit Inn for your stay in Asheville, it was a pleasure to host you both. We would have loved to "keep" you for longer, but we understand of course your wish to return home safely. The group around the breakfast table that weekend was special and a lot of fun to cook for. Everybody appreciated the food and the conversations were so interesting. We were very impressed that all the guests came despite the snow, and nobody experienced major difficulties, what a treat. Enjoy the Holidays and stay warm. All the best, Claudia and Christian

Dear Rachel P, thank you so much for choosing the Sweet Biscuit Inn for your stay in Asheville, and for taking the time to write a review for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our cozy time at the fireplace; tasting the French wine and some bakery. This is special to us, because we learn more about your lives and what brought you to Asheville. Even though we think, there are so many reasons to visit this extraordinary city, :) Especially now with the Christmas Candlelight Tours in the Biltmore Estate. We are so glad that all worked out for you to the best. Enjoy the Holidays and we are already looking forward to your next (promised) visit. All the best, Claudia and Christian

Dear Marion W, we are grateful that you choose the Sweet Biscuit Inn for your first stay in Asheville! Thank you for taking the time to write and post this review for us. We have three downstairs rooms, and they are all different. What they all have in common is our great, old fashioned, heating system. This weekend, for example, during our first intense snowstorm, the whole house was nice and cozy. We started the fireplace and everyone felt moved back to the good old times. Nice conversations, a glass of wine and fresh bakeries. What a delight and a little escape from the usual. Like the breakfasts, where people enjoy each others company and exchange experiences and knowledge about Asheville. A good and informative start in a day of exploration and fun. Enjoy your holidays, and stay warm. All the best, Claudia and Christian

Is it possible to add on a Biltmore 2 day pass in July?
Dear breezes97, that is certainly possible. Just specify your wish for any number of 2-day Biltmore passes ($58 each) with your booking, and we will make sure they are waiting for you in your room as you arrive at the Sweet Biscuit Inn. You can do so with your online booking via our website or just give us a call. -- IMPORTANT: Depending on the day of your visit you may have to reserve a time slot to enter the Biltmore house (not for the grounds, though). Just call the Biltmore reservation line at 866-779-6293. Make sure your time slot is no sooner than 10:00am if you want to enjoy our famous breakfast without haste. Looking forward to receiving you booking and to welcoming you at our B&B Inn, Christian & Claudia

Hi David, we are looking for a quant hotel in Asheville to take my sister and her husband from Canada! How close is this to local restaurants and venues? We want to be able to walk around town or take Uber! Can you recommend some restaurants as well? Thanks
Totally agree with mward. SBI is in a quiet neighborhood and would be a short Uber ride to downtown/restaurants. We were in Asheville for a wedding so dinners were prearranged by the family. Never felt like eating lunch out after the filling breakfasts at the Inn.

Is sweet biscuit pet friendly?
Thank you for your interest in the Sweet Biscuit Inn! JLFriedrich and Anna B are both right: The Carriage House (a fully furnished vacation rental) is the place to be with a pet. The main house and its guest rooms are pet-free. To add some precision: We welcome dogs and request that cats be left at home. On the website description of our Carriage House you will find further details about our pet policy.

Hello - would you have a room with two beds and sitting area? Thanks!
Tank you for your interest in our B&B Inn! The accommodation that best matches your request would be our Bird Song Suite #7. It has a master bedroom with a king bed and an adjacent living room with a daybed sofa that can be turned into a twin bed. On our website (click on "Website" link at the top of our TripAdvisor listing) you can find detailed descriptions and current photos. We'd be delighted to host you.

are you pet friendly and what does it require?
Dear maureenkwilliams, We welcome dogs (no cats, please) at our Carriage House. The main house is and remains absolutely pet-free for the benefit of our guests who are either allergic to pet hair and/or afraid of dogs. Please see our detailed pet guidelines on our website (see link in the header of our TripAdvisor page). And if you don't want to travel with a crate we gladly provide one.
