Crooked Oak Mountain Inn is fabulous in every way!! We loved the scenery, the accommodations, Bear & Patti, the breakfast, everything!! We felt like we were staying in a treehouse because of the surroundings, while also being pampered with delicious food and a comfy room!! If we get back to Asheville, we will be staying here!! We already miss our... More

Second time with Beat and Patti at their B&B. I don't want to ever stay anywhere else when being in Asheville. The house is beautiful and very accommodating. Rooms are amazing and extremely comfortable. Bear makes breakfast and is an amazing cook. There are not enough words to express our time at Crooked Oak B&B. We Love it and will... More

Wanted a few days for a birthday getaway in Asheville. Found the Crooked Oak B&B online and was very pleased with our experience. The place is up in the mountain trees away from the hubbub, but close enough to Asheville for quick trips to eat and shop. The owners, Pattie and Bear were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfasts and rooms... More

Sometimes you find a place you'd rather not tell anyone about. Bear and Patti's place is like that. Serene and secluded but close to all you would want to see and do in Asheville. They greet you like friends they haven't seen in a while. They feed you well, offer you libations, and offer suggestions and printed directions for eating... More

This is a B&B - not a hotel. We still have very fond memories of our stay here. Attentive hosts, idyllic location. Fairly close to town, but far enough away to know you're "in the woods" The proprietors, Patti and Michael (aka Bear) are the best!

This was our second visit to Crooked Oak Mountain Inn and we couldn't have been more excited to return! Our second visit was even better than the first, if that is possible! Patti and Bear are wonderful hosts and everything about the Inn makes you feel relaxed and at home. This visit felt like we were going back to see... More

Crooked Oak Mountain Inn is located in a quiet remote mountain setting surrounded by tall trees. A perfect place to stay for our Fall visit to Asheville. What really stands out are the Innkeepers, Patti and Bear. They have that special talent of making you feel so welcomed and focused on making your visit a relaxing stay. Breakfasts were amazing,... Your home away from home. A lovely mountain inn with delectable breakfasts, cozy rooms, beautiful grounds, welcoming hosts, gorgeous Fall leaves and winding roads, what more could you ask for? Even got my kitty fix with Millie the cat!

I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience my Sister-in-law and I shared at Crooked Oak Mountain Inn. From the moment we got on the mountain we were awed by the beautiful views of the blue mountains; to parking our car and being greeted by Bear, the inn owner; to our beautiful room and private bath -our stay was... The inn is situated in the midst of a woodland setting and the treetop view from our very comfortable room made us feel like we were in our own private tree house. Patti and Bear are welcoming and gracious hosts who have thought of all the details that make for a relaxing home away from home. Plenty of storage for... More
