Great place for a relaxing get away with very cozy, peaceful and comfortable rooms! Located just minutes from downtown Asheville. Christine and Dale are most gracious hosts and very accommodating. I would have to rank the breakfast meals with 5 stars. The food is excellent! If

Loved this super quiet, pretty, low key bnb. Room was old school as to be expected, which means not the fanciest mattress or shower, but the entire setting is absolutely delightful and breakfast was DELICIOUS!

can one easily walk to/from downtown? debbi
Hi Debbi, Thanks for your inquiry. I do not think it is an easy walk to the main/fun part of downtown. It is just a little too far - about 1.5 mile to the Orange Peel (music hall), 2 miles to downtown's Pack Monument (I consider this monument to be town center). I recommend driving and parking in one of the garages. All the garages are free first hour, $1.00 each hour thereafter (except for special events - $7-10 ea visit). Mary

"Room # 5 (the Garden View room) was very spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a family."
"Rose room # 7 on second floor in front of house was small, cozy and totally satisfactory!"
"We were in room #2 - The Blue Ridge Room. Stay on main floor if elderly or problems with steps."
"They are all good. Some are even haunted...possibly. The house is awesome if you enjoy homes from the early 1900's."
"Garden Room #5 has king bed and twin bed. Room is spacious with small deck. Very quiet."
