Close proximity to Biltmore, several awesome local breweries (try the Coffee Porter at Archetype), and great casual dining (try Pizza Mind next to Archetype). The hosts were so nice, the accommodations were clean as well as uniquely historic and comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely...More
Great place for a relaxing get away with very cozy, peaceful and comfortable rooms!
Located just minutes from downtown Asheville.
Christine and Dale are most gracious hosts and very accommodating.
I would have to rank the breakfast meals with 5 stars. The food is excellent!...More
The hosts Dale and Christine were delightful and their culinary skills sublime, Stayed in many bnb's; their breakfast was the best I've ever experienced!
The bedrooms were cozy and beds comfortable. We will definitely return someday soon! Dan

Thanks for your inquiry. I do not think it is an easy walk to the main/fun part of downtown. It is just a little too far - about 1.5 mile to the Orange Peel (music hall), 2 miles to downtown's Pack Monument (I consider this monument to be town center). I recommend driving and parking in one of the garages. All the garages are free first hour, $1.00 each hour thereafter (except for special events - $7-10 ea visit).
