Applewood Manor Inn is a very beautiful and spacious home. My husband and I called it our home away from home. The house is well maintained and very clean. Our bed was so comfortable it was hard to leave it in the morning. Our balcony from our room provided a view of a pretty landscaped yard. All the touches throughout...

This was our third time in three years staying at Applewood. Larry and Nancy greet us like old friends and it's wonderful. We stayed in the Cottage for the first time, which was lovely - very private. Summertime is a great time to visit - the grounds are beautiful and weather a welcome break from the city heat. Food absolutely...

Larry and Nancy are wonderful hosts, there wasn't a single glitch with logistics and they treated us as if they had known us for years. The house and grounds are beautiful and the property is within walking distance of downtown Asheville shops and restaurants.

The Applewood was fantastic and the owners Larry and Nancy were extremely friendly and treated us like family. They were very accomodating and paid extreme attention to every detail, from the chocolates on our bed every night to the wine and cheese snacks every evening. The lady that cleans the rooms was also very friendly and told my wife and...

The best part of staying here are the proprietors who are always available and go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Common areas are lovely and inviting. As you might expect in an older home you do hear others in adjacent bedrooms. Great multi course breakfast. Don't miss the Biltmore estate.

During our 4 weeks trip we have seen a lot of inns and hotels but the Applewood is something special. I think it´s especially because the owners love their business. The...

Larry and Nancy have the ability to make you feel at home by knowing how to anticipate your needs. They are very accommodating and create a warm and friendly atmosphere. We had the run of the house and were left alone to do so. The food is wonderful and service great.
