We were welcomed by Sonny who works at the restaurant (I cannot say enough good things about the food, but that's another review). He took our suitcase to our suite which was located on the 1st floor. We thought this was great at first, but then we heard high heels going upstairs late at night, loud voices (the wall insulation...

Perfect location in downtown Boston. Allowed us to view all of the most popular sites without use of a rental car. The room was clean and well furnished but did not have reliable hot water! Once mid-day on our second day stay it was barely warm enough to shower. Otherwise the water was somewhere between cold and ice cold. We...

The suites are in the perfect location in the north end district. Rooms are very spacious. Hardwood floors large kitchenette and a beautiful bathroom and a modern shower. The only downside of this hotel is the stairs leading to your rooms. We stayed at the very top and it is a steep climb besides that if you want a suite...

Located behind the Bricco Restaurant, in fact you go into the restaurant to check in. There are no elevators so I asked if we could stay on the ground floor. We had a nice size room. It had a gas fireplace on the wall at the end of the bed. The bakery is below the hotel and the smell is...

Four of us just stayed a night at Bricco Suites. The moment we arrived curbside the manager quickly found us and helped us to our room. Great, spacious and clean room with wonderful beds and modern baths. The location in the North End is great, and from there you can walk to the popular areas across Boston. I feel like...

Located in the North End of Boston in the middle of the best italian food in the city. It is behind the Bricco Restaurant (you need to check in behind the hostess stand in the restaurant) in a quiet brick building. The rooms are ultra modern and have cozy electric fireplaces. You cannot get a better location in Boston for...

If you want to live like a local this place is awesome! I had a 2 bedroom and the rooms were plenty big enough and comes with 2 robes. Everything is clean and crisp, the bathroom has a nice large shower and has everything you need. We had a kitchen with a nice little refrigerator, stove, real plates and utensils....

Me and my wife went there with another couple and booked a two bedroom suite. When we arrived we had to check in at the Bricco restaurant which we thought would be strange but the guy who checked us in was very helpfull and assisted us in getting our luggage to our suite. Whe had to walk through one of...

First I have to applaud the management of Bricco Suites. They were very gracious and responsive. Also, this is a wonderful location in the heart of the North End, close to restaurants and things to do and see in Boston. The reason for 3 stars instead of a higher rating is that we were on the street side and the...

The location can't be beat (but don't bring a car). The walk up to our suite was over 30 stairs which is fine for some and not others (think European hotels). The suite was kept very clean and had one of the best showers one could experience (and being mindful of water usage it is guilty pleasure). The mattresses and...

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
