I stayed multiple times at the location over the last three months and would give it high marks on many levels. Unfortunately, and disturbingly, there was a hideous food or body odor that permeated my room late at night during my most recent stay. As bad as this was, Management's follow-up made a smelly situation completely foul. Instead of demonstrating...

Reading your comments regarding your experience was very disheartening, as this is not the typical experience at our hotel. As our housekeeping department regularly refreshes our guest rooms thoroughly with great care, we regret that you encountered an issue on your stay. When guests share concerns with us, they are taken very seriously and are a priority to resolve, and...

Received a pro-active upgrade for being a Gold Member which gave us plenty of rooms for the family. The hotel is an architectural gem and beautifully renovated as a Residence Inn. Service staff was superb and friendly. Every member of the team greeted us with a warm welcome. Breakfast was typical RI fare (could use an update at the nationwide...

At the Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Downtown/Seaport we aim to combine unique design with the comforts of home, and we’re glad you enjoyed your stay with us! We love hearing from our Marriott Rewards guests and it’s great to hear that an upgrade made for such a pleasant experience, with plenty of room for everyone to get comfortable. It’s...

Marriott did a great job here. This is an old factory that they adapted in such a way that keeps a lot of the factory still present through certain touches, including original tiling in this huge courtyard area. Exposed beams. High ceilings. But without sacrificing comfort and quality. Very nice staff. Very nice breakfast by people proud of what they...

Overall I would have rated the Residence Inn Downtown/Seaport a 4 or even a 5 had it not been for the horrible sleeper sofas in our room and our friends room. The rooms themselves were spacious and well equipped kitchen and living space. The bedroom was also large with nice views. The pullout sofa had a thin mattress and the...

We want all of our guests to have a comfortable stay with us, and we’re very sorry that your experience on one of our sofa beds was not exactly that. Our maintenance department has been made aware of your concerns, so that we can work to ensure all of our guests are comfortable during their time with us. However, we’re...

Being a frequent traveler, I've stayed in many Marriott properties over the years, particularly Residence Inn properties. This location was spectacular - an industrial space converted into a modern piece of art (used to be a Necco factory). Appreciated everything about this hotel - amenities, design, cleanliness, character, food & top notch customer service!

Check in was good and efficient. This is a Residence Inn, in an old warehouse. You get that feeling in the room also, as it is open as a ceiling, not a fixed ceiling. This could be a problem with a few people in the room. The bed was a little stiff for us. The couch in the main room...

This hotel is simply spectacular. I loved how they kept so much of the old and blended it with new. The furniture and lobby design is amazing. The rooms are huge, we were a family of four and had more than enough room. The kitchenette is so convenient. It was very quiet at night. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, brie...

What struck me as soon as I walked into the Residence Inn Boston Downtown/Seaport was that it is not like any other Residence Inn I have ever seen. This area has been expanding and becoming more and more popular, for good reason. Not surprisingly, the seaport district of South Boston is located beautifully along the water. The area is designed for easy strolling along the HarborWalk, and there are bars and restaurants for all ages and budgets. The Institute of Contemporary Art is located in this area in a contemporary building with an absolutely stunning deck overlooking the water. In the summer time there are Friday music concerts on the deck of the museum. Nearby, there are many green spaces to enjoy.
