There is a fairly large strip shopping area within a few minutes walking distance to the rear of this hotel however, you have to walk through a poorly lit back area to get there. I wouldn't do it at night. There is an Applebees that would have the game and maybe a few other bars nearby but I'd check with the hotel first.
