I had a a great stay at the InterContinental! I love that you can walk from South Station. Great location and easy access to everything. Attentive and friendly service and spotless good sized rooms. I am an IHG member and did not know that the InterContinental was part of this group. Will definitely stay again.

What a stunning establishment. The location of this Hotel is perfect. Close all you need to see in Boston. Our view was great our little guy loved he could see the Boston Tea Party boat. We upgraded to a suite for only $100 more. Not much is included in the price however. Wifi was $20, Parking was $44 and what...

I upgraded the room to Harbor view and was blown away by the view. Second the proximity to everything was fantastic as well. The hotel staff was genuinely pleasant and left no question unanswered. I would definitely recommend staying here if you happened to be looking for something in Boston.

Beautiful corner room with a water view, the staff was amazing - offering extra water and chocolates at turndown! Food in the restaurant was exceptional. Concierge, Louis was extremely helpful, purchasing and printing tickets to the boat show! Can't wait to return!

I stayed here on business in a room by myself. The rooms have an odd layout with an opening between the bedroom and the bathroom that resembles a window. still, spotless and luxurious. Good internet. Excellent restaurant.

We had a one bedroom suite. Everything about our stay and the hotel was phenomenal, especially the staff. We also had access to the special complimentary breakfast. Exceptional service and the quality of the food was incredible.

I traveled for business but stayed the weekend for pleasure. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, especially the service and the food. I was checked in by Inilta Monteiro who was so professional and paid attention to every detail about my stay. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was the best I ever had. Charles Strong & Mohamed in...

What a great stay! The hotel is really well located, clean, super friendly staff. They were always there to help, asking questions about my trip and were inquiring about my friend who was sick most of the stay. I want to say that the concierge team is more than awesome. What a team! Luis, Brittney and Adam = Dream Team!...

Took a last minute trip to Boston and decided to give the Intercontinental a try since rates were very reasonable that particular weekend. Our family loved it. Not only were the amenities what you'd expect out of a 5 star hotel, but the staff was down-to-earth and very respectful. The location was ultra convenient to getting to a wide range...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.

“Price menu for mini bar? I didn't want to try anything without knowing. And low flush toilets? Room should come with brush. It was a couples visit and although we all poop we don't need to see each other's poop when flushing.”
