This B&B was quite nice in all aspects with one exception. The location is great - you are in a lovely and historic neighborhood instead of being in a business district. The owner is friendly and helpful. She prepares breakfast for you every morning. The atmosphere of her home is very relaxed and inviting. The one item that I had...

Beacon Hill Bed and Breakfast was exactly what I was hoping for. On our recent trip to Boston my family had the pleasure to stay with Susan in her lovely home. The location is perfect, no need for a car, you can walk everywhere. Susan is warm and helpful. We look forward to staying here again.

This bed and breakfast is in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of Fenway Park, TD Center, Boston Common, great shopping and dining. Your hostess is extremely pleasant, helpful and caring. Breakfast served at the dining table overlooking the river and park area is stunning; the bedrooms are large and very comfortable. It is pricey but...

Just come back from a three night stay in this lovely house, rooms were very large, just two rooms are rented out and we were travelling with my daughter and her partner so was just right. It is situated in the lovely Beacon Hill District. 3 minutes walk to Boston Common, 10 minutes walk to Copley Plaza and Macy's. It...

Staying in Beacon Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Beacon Hill
Visit this historic and ritzy Boston neighborhood to soak up its classic New England charm as you stroll down cobblestoned, gas-lamp lined streets. Bring your walking shoes, camera, and select a nice day to wander through the hilly neighborhood and check out its exclusive addresses. Louisburg Square, Mt. Vernon street, Chestnut street and the extremely narrow and widely photographed Acorn street make a nice walking path. Make sure to meander down Charles street to poke into boutiques and antique shops, cafes, and restaurants on this quaint shopping street. Don’t forget to catch a glimpse up close of the State House with its beautiful and iconic dome.
