We stayed in suite 7 and were very pleased. We had some trouble with our booking due to a mistake on the credit card number, and the office was extremely helpful with getting that problem fixed. The location is wonderful for walking the city and subway travel. The Union United Methodist Church was a beautiful view out our windows. The... More

Lovely apartment, great location, friendly neighbourhood. They let us leave bags at nearby hotel until later in the day. Had a small welcome pack upon arrival, coffee, instant oats etc. Would stay here again. It's just like a hotel but without the receptionist.

We'd looked at hotels in Boston which came up very expensive; we wanted to stay 5 nights and we got a great deal here. The access codes were e-mailed to us and we took the train from New York; as we didn't know Boston we took a short taxi ride to our apartment. (Now we know it's round the corner... More

Not long returned from a stay here. Large apartment and loved the rood terrace. Could do with freshening up everything but loved the layout and location. WiFi is awful and drops constantly. We also had no area guide that was promised when booking, the fire did not work and the tv remote was broken. These apartments could be amazing if... More

If you're going to be in units 7, 8 or 9 and you're not physically fit, the stairs will be a struggle. There is no lift. Taking luggage up and down was tricky. We were in Unit 8 for 10 days (good comfy bed, tub with fixed shower over, ceiling fan which kept us cool, rear 'views' of nothing much... More

Roof terrace is by far the best feature. Suite was fairly large, but furniture was a bit old. Bathroom wasn't the greatest (and bring your own shower gel and hair dryer), but the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and our experience was clean. If you planned on staying in the room a lot this is not the place for... More

I am not sure if I am reading the reviews of the same place I just stayed at this past weekend because the place I stayed at exceeded my expectations. We stayed in unit #9 and were more than happy. The unit is very small, but if you are young and are expecting to be out and about all day,... More

We stayed there last week. This is an unmanned hotel. You get a key code via email a day or two before you checkin in. Interesting concept. Overall, we found the accommodations acceptable. The location was great. Its in the South End, a few blocks from Copley Square, the Back Bay, the Prudential Center, and the "T" (green line). Within... More

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
