A beautiful hotel. The staff pampered my husband and me. Immaculate premises. The staff is highly trained and warm and welcoming. Great location. Some rooms overlook the pretty harbor. A wonderful stay.

While my dealings with the actual hotel staff so far have been wonderful, I can't say the same about the spa. I booked a family getaway for my family as a Christmas gift and wanted to arrange spa streatments for the 4 of us one afternoon during our stay. Over the last 10 days, I have called the spa about... Great location, great service. Terrific views, great rooms. The spa / fitness center is top tier for a hotel. Great restaurants and bar. Pretty much everything about the stay was perfect. Yes, it is a little pricey. Worth it...

Hotel cleanliness is a MUST for me. BHH exceeded that expectation above and beyond. The rooms were spotless, odorless and of superior comfort. I have never, in any hotel I have stayed at, felt comfortable with the bathroom, bed linens and carpeting as I did with BHH. That said, the room was well appointed, the hotel was of Five star... This was our second visit to the Boston Harbor Hotel and it was a wonderful experience. From the beginning, you know that service is paramount here. The greeters at the door, the registration desk employees; everyone is friendly and helpful. It is clear this hotel wants its guests to enjoy their stay and return. They know there are plenty of... I stayed at this hotel, at the end of October 2016, for one night with my wife and our 1 year old. Beautiful layout, great views of the harbor, and very clean. We had a corner room with a king bed, very spacious. Bathroom was like brand new and large. We walked to the Aquarium and to Faneuil Hall, not... More

This is a classic, elegant hotel on the waterfront with exceptional service (in all aspects). The staff is extraordinary and every request is granted with elegance. The city is growing around this hotel and there is NO better location (seaport, waterfront, north end, Charlestown...)

Rooms- spacious, clean and comfortable beds. Free wifi. Quiet. Location- walking distance to restaurants, aquarium and museums. Dining- lunch in restaurant was good quality but expensive. In room dining was prompt, but not the highest quality of food. Staff- all very friendly, attentive and helpful.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
