I am a loyal and very critical Four Seasons customer. Boston Four Seasons is under a complete renovation and I was not very positive about the process early this month. After two consecutive stays I am happy to report they did it again! Not only they made it up to me with multiple treats, upgrades and details. Its IMPOSSIBLE to...

First class hotel in a great location across from the Public Gardens. The room was plush and roomy. The service from the hotel staff was wonderful. Gave us the name of a restaurant for brunch and didn't disappoint. Had a highly enjoyable stay. Would recommend but it is pricey.

There is not much more that can be said about the hotel as it is becoming the hotel of choice in Boston for me. Almost like a home away from home. The rooms are clean and very well kept - and I got to stay in a room with a newly furnished bathroom which added to the experience. The location...

Spent a weekend at the Four Seasons in Boston. A sentimental favorite as we got married there (many) years ago. Of special note was the attention to detail by the house keeping staff. Noticing that my travel tube of toothpaste was almost empty, they placed a new one on the sink. A small but hugely appreciated personal touch. In addition,...

This Four Seasons is a classic. It is by far the best hotel in the city of Boston. I haven't stayed at this hotel in 12 years. I experimented with all the others and I have to tell you they don't even compare. Yes some hotels look better in some way, some may be more expensive, some are more modern...

I booked the Four Seasons Boston based on the high quality brand name and location right on Boston Commons. While the hotel is very well located, the lobby is beautiful, the staff are professional and welcoming, and the newly renovated gym is one of the best I we have found in a hotel of late, the room itself was disappointing....

Spent an incredible weekend in Boston for the AFC Championship Game. The Four Seasons Boston is perfectly situated, walking distance from some of the best restaurants in town and across the street from a huge park and Boston Common. We did the 3-hr historic walking tour that I highly recommend and that the hotel set-up for us. Harvard is a...

My wife has been having a conference at the Four Seasons for the past 15 years and I get to join her for the last day or two as we extend our stay to enjoy the city. We only live 22 miles from the hotel, but I'll take a couple nights sleep at the Four Seasons whenever I can! The...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
