We picked the Oasis because it was walking distance to Fenway Park and because we prefer smaller B&Bs to big chain hotels. The location was terrific, with restaurants and shopping on Newberry St nearby and the T a short couple of blocks away. The rooms were clean and pleasant enough, but small. Breakfast was not the lavish affair often associated...

This guest house (also the personnel say you that this is not an hotel) is located in a great place to visit Boston. You are in a quite street without traffic. We was in room 109 with a good vision on the street. The bathroom was a little small, but the kindly of the personnel compensate all. You fill as...

If your top requirement is hotel comforts, this isn't the place for you. I went for business at the Boston Sheraton and Convention center. Oasis was literally a five minute walk, so that was very convenient. Also, there were lots of shops around. When I checked in, they gave me a map and made lots of suggestions of things to...

We picked this on the internet and were amazed by the great location, helpful staff. We were upgraded to a bedroom with a bathroom since there were vacancies. Breakfast was great and fresh. Close to a Whole Foods store!!! Could sleep without being disturbed by other guests. And let's not forget the back terrace. Highly recommended!

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighbourhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
