The convenience of the location was great, very near the tube station to access anywhere & short walk to Boston Common. Unfortunately the room was very small (& we upgraded), decor was dated, heating / air con system was old & made the room dry. Facilities & staff were good and made us feel welcome. Would recommend for short visit.

Can't think of much I could say about Parker House that hasn't already been said but it was our first stay and it was an absolute delite. Perfectly located to most everything. The staff from the moment you get there are wonderful. Dinning there was a dream. This old gem is a must for any traveler.

This place is beautiful and we will likely stay here again if we return to Boston. The rooms were slightly smaller than normal hotels including the bathroom. The tub seems to original and it is deep! They have no pool or hot tub on site. They have two bars and one restaurant. We eat at the last hurrah bar. Food...

Stayed at the Parker House for several days due to a Boston visit and wedding reception. Reception was wonderful. Food was tremendous. an absolutely wonderful venue. Hotel was convenient to much of the local history. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

The hotel is very well presented with old features & good facilities. We spent 2 nights at the hotel & had very good service, location & comfort. The main front bar is very popular with a very good atsmophere.

While traveling on vacation in Iceland I broke my ankle. I traveled back to the US through Boston and spent the night at Parker House. The staff was outstanding. I was met at the door with wheelchair service by a very kind doorman. Check in was immediate, no waiting at all. Next I was taken to my room, which was...

We booked through the hotel website and were given a wonderful corner room with two windows -- one of which looked out over King's Chapel and Old City Hall. The room seemed a little larger than the standard deluxe. The bathroom was tiny but had nice old fashioned fixtures including a nice deep tub. This is an old hotel, so...

We just returned from 5 nights at the Omni Parker House in Boston. We chose it for the location and we were spot on! We were just a short walk to the subway and about a 10 walk to the North End, which is where we went every evening to eat. It was also close to some shopping (The Gap,...

This is a classic hotel that balances history with modern amenities and service. The fitness center is state of the art and perfect for any kind of travel. The level of service is the best I have had anywhere and the restaurants still have the historic feel that is so hard to find.

I was pleasantly surprised that the staff left children's books and coloring books with crayons for my toddler girl. Also all the outlets were child-proofed and they provided a night lamp as well. Very welcoming

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
