I used Tripadvisor on picking this hotel for a getaway weekend for my college graduate daughter and myself. It was perfect!!!. The trip from the airport was easy and convenient. To come up from the sub have the hotel right in front of you was perfect. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning. We were in a hurry to get...

I stayed here for a night, May 24, 2013. The hotel is well located near some of Boston's attractions; near the Harbor, Quincy market and freedom trail. The staff at check-in were efficient and helpful. I had a clean, average-size atrium view room with a comfortable twin bed. My only misgiving was that the bedside lamps would not go off...

Excellent hotel in Downtown Boston. Walking distance to MANY restaurants and pubs, historic locations, TD Garden, etc. Was very impressed by the room, cleanliness and staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a downtown location or visiting the Boston area. Across the street from Faneuil Hall, Aquarium and access to the subway is right outside the entrance. Stayed for 4...

Just by the Aquarium Subway, close to Quincy Market, Little Italy, The Freedom Trail and Fanneuil Hall this is a great location. It's only two stops on the subway from the airport which costs just $2.50 (on the Blue Line) and the tour buses are just across the street. Booked a room with an exterior window which was worth the...

Great location, close to Quincy Market, Fanueil Hall, hop on, hop off buses, wharf area and cruises. Easy walk to Little Italy. Had an atrium room which had a great bathroom. Great free Wifi and business area where you can use computers and printers for free as well. Will be great when the bar and Starbucks opens up in foyer...

This hotel know sit is all about the location...close to the harbor, close to Quincy Market, the Freedom Trail, etc. it is not the fanciest hotel, but what it lacks in style, it is made up by the convenience of its location. There is also an MTA stop right out front and across the street. This hotel also is NOT...

The hotel was in walking distance to major attractions and the metro was just outside the door,The room was lovely. The metro which cost $2 each took us to the airport. We could walk to the fabulous Italian restaurants in the North End. We were 2 minutes away form Quincy Market, the harbor and the City Tour Buses..

We recently stayed overnight for a stop over on our way from New Jersey to Maine. We loved it so much we booked a room again on the way back for our stop over. Price & Location: the location of this hotel was perfect! Right across the street on one side is the harbor and on the other side is...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
