Location is 2 stops on T subway from Airport . Wheel luggage across the street from station to HOTEL doorstep, Rooms are clean & updated. Beds are comfy. Staff is nice & respectful but not friendly ( no smiles). There are no tours to Plimouth or Cape in the WInter months,. Disappointed. Walking distance to Boston Commons & Frog pond...

I was vising my friends and all we decided to go out and in the night we just walked in to stay overnight without booking, we got room on long weekend in the summer, was unexpected we can get it, we thought might be bad hotel, not fully occupied during long weekend, but when we checked our room, it was...

Stayed 4 nights on holiday during September. Location was excellent, right next to Aquarium T station and easily walkable to main sights. Room had lovely nautical theme and was clean and roomy - only downside was no natural light but we had chosen an atrium room so no real complaints. Tea and coffee station in foyer downstairs was nice to...

My wife and I stayed at the Harborside Inn on December 3rd 2011. The hotel is not much to look at aesthetically from the outside, but once inside I was pleasantly surprised by the architectural converted warehouse. The interior is cross between the rustic look of old red brick, post and beam look with a twist of updated hip contemporary...

I was looking for a hotel in Boston for a weekend stay. My girlfriend wanted to stay overnight in the city for her birthday. I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel that was centrally located. We found it in this hotel. We had a Queen size city view room. Rooms are located around the perimeter of the building. They...

Discounted third-party parking garage 2 blocks away; driving in Boston can be very stressful; exposed brick and wall-to-floor mirrors are nice touches; free Wi-Fi; plentiful dining (i.e. Quincy Market) and shopping options nearby; rooms with city views are recommended over rooms with atrium views; surprisingly large lobby for such a small hotel; young staff were concise and terse but not...

We've stayed at this hotel a half dozen times or so when we go to Boston. We frequently travel to Boston to watch hockey games and ran across this place and fell in love. It's walking distance from the aquarium and Quincy market, with plenty of great places to get food in the area. Also on the weekend there's a...

We paid about $115 for our room and that seems like a great deal for the location and comfort of the rooms. The furniture was high quality, the room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. It had cool decorations and an exposed brick wall. The only big downfall was that the window shades don't block much light, so the room...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
