They've poured a ton of money into the place over the past few years and it looks fantastic. Its really got that classic spanish feel now and the customer service is just amazing. They have about four pools on property and show movies during the summer for the kids to watch in the Santiago pool. Eating outside on the Veranda's...

Just as you approach the property, lush, green gardens greet you. Beautiful spanish style mansion. Quiet, relaxing, homey place to be active or be quiet reading a book. Great afternoon breeze.. wine in the verandas..

We didn't stay here but, rather, played golf and visited the downstairs (sports) bar. The valet parking guy who greeted us was great, helpful and took our clubs to the cart area. After golf, we hit the bar downstairs because the cart guy said there was a great happy hour. What he didn't tell us was it only applied in...

Surprisingly unique and beautiful room with terrific nature view. Attended a conference and everything is close. Food was great. We had a fun putting contest and wine tasting by the Veranda. Would recommend for romantic getaway, reunion or conference.

Recent stay for a kids soccer tournament. This was the assigned hotel for the team. I really liked the grounds and layout of the property. The grounds are beautiful and there are lots of little nooks for relaxing as well as larger spaces for groups to gather. Family and adult pools as well as a program for kids - very...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. Staff are super friendly and aim to please. I felt completely pampered. I loved the peaceful grounds. My head to toe massage with Christy was AMAZING! It was a massage, energy healing and therapy treatment all rolled into one deeply satisfying and healing experience. She is a true healer. The...

I was here for three nights for a business conference. I found the hotel to be clean and charming and the staff to be very courteous and helpful. Be aware that the buildings don't have elevators so if your room is not on the ground floor you have to haul your luggage up a flight of stairs. Also the hallways...

Had to switch rooms once due to an issue. Staff was very accommodating though and went out of their way to make sure everything was ok. The rooms could use some updates but overall we had a good stay. I would recommend not staying near the pool if you want quiet. On Friday and Saturday nights they have movie night...

First of all, let me start mentioning that people who work at the hotel and Spa are just phenomenal! My review is based on the whole experience – Hotel + Spa, I checked out few hours ago. I booked a room per $179 with the hotel directly to a romantic getaway with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. Also booked...

We stayed at the inn because we wanted to treat ourselves to a nice hotel while visiting San Diego for an event filled weekend. 1. First experience was the smell in the Garden wing. It smelled like sewer gas, so did our hotel room. The hall carpet and stairs were very dirty. 2. No elevator, it might have been nice...

Dear SCbythesea: Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I sincerely apologize for the experience you had at the resort with your guest room and the valet.
