I stayed here while visiting family and also attending Comic Con. I don't usually write reviews but I feel compelled to because my stay was superb! The B&B is located a nice distance from Downtown and just a little walk away from the Hillcrest bustle. I didn't drive over there but there are bus stops nearby with a good service...

Although my stay was short, Ann did everything she could to ensure my visit was enjoyed. The room was spotlessly clean, perfectly appointed and comfortable. Ann did her utmost to ensure I was well informed on the sights, the history and the attractions. She engaged me in conversation on a friendly basis, took the time to show interest in my...

The neighborhood of Hillcrest, is in San Diego's City Center. We find it to be a great "Base" for our daily adventures in and around the city. This was our 3rd time staying at Hillcrest House B&B, and can't imagine going anywhere else. In the past we stayed in the Gaslamp, Coronado, and this last visit picked the Old Town...

My husband and I spent three wonderful days/nights at the Hillcrest House! Our time could not have been better. Ann was incredibly hospitable and always willing to recommend great spots to visit and places to eat. The breakfast is yummy, the rooms are spacious and the sheets are AMAZING!! We are already planning our next trip!

What a wonderful B&B! My husband and I enjoyed a delightful nine days with Ann. She gave us many tips on places to eat and places to visit. We loved our morning coffee and breakfast time. We stayed in the lovely Old Town Room which is very comfy and relaxing. Definitely the place to stay when you visit San Diego....

I brought my 10 year old with me to San Diego for a special trip with Dad for her 10th birthday. You can't beat the location: 5 minutes from the famous SD Zoo, about 6 minutes from Sea World, and walking distance to the best selection of restaurants in the San Diego area. The room in the cottage was clean...

This is a delightful B&B on a quiet street on the edge of the bustling Hillcrest neighborhood, with easy buses to downtown. Ann is an attentive host and will address any special needs. Pleasant continental breakfast with lots of fruit; rooms are very clean and ours was spacious. Prices are reasonable for San Diego. We will be back!

My daughter stayed and recommended to us. Ann was so nice and helpful. I don't want to have to stay in a hotel ever again. Thank you Ann.

A conference at the San Diego Convention Center brought me to San Diego, but Hillcrest House will bring me back. Ann helped me navigate San Diego, easily accessing the public transit system, recommending excellent restaurants, shopping, and excursions, providing a delicious heart-healthy breakfast, and sharing wonderful conversation and stories. The classic furnishings, luxurious sheets and comfortable pillows provided a wonderful...
