I stayed at this hotel to try it out and was very impressed with it because it offered a better value, had more upscale, modern features (Keurig coffee, modern bathroom) and personalized experience (free glass of wine checking in, complimentary drinks/snacks in the room) than the flagship Manchester hotel. B/C it's in the Gaslamp district, the Andaz can get a...

enjoyed the roof top area and the surrounding neighborhood. The hotel is contemporary and the rooms are very nice. The only downside was that my room looked into the interior atrium and people could see in if the blinds were not closed. I would definitely come back.

The location is wonderful and the staff was very friendly. The decor is modern and eclectic with a welcoming glass of wine. I enjoyed the room which was contemporary and clean. I slept well so the bed was comfortable. I recommend this hotel...especially the roof top lounge in the evening - great views and staff!

I loved this hotel. It was safe and it was clean and very warm as in welcoming. I would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to San Diego. My room which was a standard king was awesome and comfortable and simply lovely. Thank you.

We stayed over on a Wednesday night and were upgraded to a King Loft under Hyatt's Gold Passport upgrade program against a moderate fee. This was a great deal. The room was spacious and very luxurios (close to Park Hyatt style). Very quite as to the inner-courtyard on the 5th floor. We spent some hours at the roof deck -...

Really nice botique hotel with big, clean and modern rooms. The Batbroom in my room had a glass wall looking into the room, which is fine as I was alone but might be weird if you sharing - also remember to close the blinds if your room looks out on to street and you have the glass wall. Food was...

The Andaz San Diego is a hip and trendy hotel in the Gaslamp district. It is very close to many restaurants, bars, and all of the exciting places in the district. It's also not far from the convention center. The staff is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable, and the rooms are clean and tranquil. The also offer many complimentary foods and...

This is definitely a party hotel. The lobby, conference rooms, and rooftop are fantastic. I look forward to staying here after the future renovations. Rooms are not business friendly. No USB and limited outlets. Phones do not work well.

Stayed for 4 nights during a conference. Good location in the Gaslamp, but a block away from the chaos of 5th. Rooms are large and well-appointed, but they are starting to show a little bit of wear-and-tear. There was mold growing around the rim of the bathroom sink that if housekeeping did a bit of a better job, this could...
