Attending a very large convention and so everything is crowded. But checkin was smooth, quick, and the expected level of room available. Decent restaurants, very good outdoor gathering areas with a nice bar. Easy access to seaside walk, safe at extended hours. Expensive but all of San Diego is now. Room had very comfortable bed, large shower, water saving is...

The views were incredible! We had an executive suite on the 5th floor over looking the harbor. The glass doors opened wide to the balcony and there was even a view from the bathroom. This was the nicest Marriot I've ever stayed in. I would absolutely stay again.

This hotel was fantastic! Clean, courteous staff, well kept grounds, room was spot on and a big thank you for other reviews urging the bayside balcony upgrade! 19th floor view was amazing to say the least! Location is great, walk to restaurants galore! Central location was very convenient for us.

I was there for the weekend. The rooms are very clean, had partial view of the bay which was really pretty, especially at night with all the city lights. Had a balcony, small bar fridge. No microwave. The shower was great. For the expense, I thought it was nuts that they wanted an extra fee for wifi. Plus parking was...

Great location in the convention center area with walking distance proximity to Gas Lamp restaurants and bars. Room had balcony view overlooking marina, which was very nice. The concierge level was well appointed, but small, and very crowded for breakfast, but the staff was always pleasant and worked hard to make everyone happy!

The Marriott Marquis is a very nice hotel situated very close to the Convention Center and to the Seashore Village (shops & restaurants). You can easily walk to the Trolley Station and to Gaslamp (if you're adventurous). Otherwise, a $5 Uber ride can get you to most places. All of the amenities are first class** (the pool, the bar and...

We sure enjoyed our stay here - 12th floor, Marina view - nicely appointed but smallish king room with balcony, great view of the harbor and the best thing is that everything is within walking distance - Gaslamp, marina, harbor, Seaport Village, the Midway all just steps away. The hotel itself has beautiful grounds, great fitness center, large lagoon swimming...
