This is for room 309 Decided to risk a family visit to New York with 7-month old twins. From experinece, New York hotels in this price range were usually pretty hit or miss. This one, on the whole, was a hit. Room was surprisingly large, and the staff brought a crib immediately on arrival, and there was ample room for...

It's not the fanciest or most stylish place, but it was clean and we had a large room with a great bathroom. The staff was very helpful. Very good location; close to subway stations and not very far from most major attractions. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed there for 1 night. Clean, Not extravagant but has most amenities. Mattress was very firm. Decent sized room. (Been in hotels in NYC that the room was barely bigger than the bed) Coffee and bagels/muffins in the morning. Train station a block away on 23rd and 6th ave. Walking distance to the village.

I've stayed at this hotel on more than one occasion over the last year or two. The front desk staff is consistently friendly. Check in and check out is quick and efficient. The hotel is located in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood making it easy to walk to cafes, bars and restaurants. It is also a short walk to midtown or the...

My wife and I were in NYC following our son's surgery. This hotel is wonderfully close to his apartment. We were there for 10 days and have no complaints. The rooms are large by New York standards, mildly worn but very acceptable and quiet. This is basic accommodation but extremely livable for two folks(king room). Rates vary by date pretty...

I was late arriving, but they waited up. The breakfast was adequate and the room was quiet despite having a nice view of 23rd St. and 7th Avenue. Very convenient, and very friendly too. I would go back.

We picked the Savoy knowing Chelsea is the happening spot in NYC: Highline, new Whitney museum, Chelsea market, lots of food options. The price was right and we didn't expect luxury. It was fine. Clean. Street noise can be an issue, the hotel being situated on a busy street.

The hotel looks a little dated but it has everything you need - Rooms quite spacious - There is a little breakfast, but it's very poor The location is great, walking distance to same attractions, subway stop right in front of the hotel!

Stayed here last weekend and was very surprised at the size of our room very spacious for NYC hotels, free breakfast was a plus as well, very central location, a block away from the metro, nice pub next door, lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
