Convenient location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. This is not the Ritz, but the place seems to be maintained well. Some of the carpet and furniture are showing a bit of age, but you could call that character. Plenty of food in the area, but the breakfast provided is basically coffee and a bagel. I'd...

I love this hotel. The breakfast and coffee are great. The front desk staff are kind and helpful. It is convenient to the subway and a food. Nice and less expensive than other places in the city. Sometimes a bit loud.

We stayed in May 2016. If a cheap visit to NYC is on the agenda then this is the place you're looking for then this is the place to go! Hotel was clean, room very spacious and unlike most places they provide breakfast! We only used the room to sleep, shower & change so this was exactly what we needed!...

Great location in Chelsea. Less than 10 blocks from Penn Station to hotel, so it's walkable. Fashion Institute is nearby and many good restaurants nearby. Can recommend Restivo Ristorante. Also of interest in the area is Chelsea Market and the High Line walkway, both within walking distance from the hotel.

We've spent 3 nights late October, nice clean rooms, back rooms are quiet. Hotel team was very helpful. Location is great, walking distance from many things and close to 3 different Subway lines makes it easy to get in and out at any time.

The hotel was a very easy walk from Penn Station and since we arrived early, our room was not ready yet, however, that was no problem. The staff kindly tagged our bags and stored them away. The #1 subway was right outside our door so travel uptown or downtown was super easy and convenient. The rooms were clean; the bathroom...

We were pleasantly rewarded with a such clean rooms and friendly staff. Location was perfect. Only gripe was the free breakfast not ready until 8:00 am, and as we were jet lagged would have be happy with a 7:00 am service.

We actually spent 2 nights at the Chelsea Savoy, 1 night before our train trip and 1 night after. Rooms were clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I gave a 3 star rating instead of 4 star because the breakfast was very limited. Coffee, tea, muffin only. No juice. No toast. No cereal. Location...

We stayed in the Chelsea Savoy back in August. A family of 4 adults. To start the location is amazing: all metro lines are at 5 min walk max. Exactly at the middle between uptown and downtown. Across the street there is Starbucks, $1 pizza, movies, classy dining restaurants, and a supermarket next to the hotel entrance. Take a walk...

I chose this location because of location and that was fine however checking into a room in a strange town with no chain or deadbolt for my door was not a pleasant feeling it was all fine but still an electronic lock on the door with no mechanical back up for my safety I think not
